I've tried both of these products, each one for 6 months at a time. I found that the only difference they made to me was to put a hole in my bank balance!

I can only comment on Symprove. As far as I'm aware it's not on the NHS yet, the only people who would possibly be getting it that way would be the ones who took part on the trial a few years ago. I was on the trial and it didn't work for me but was told that if it did, I would be supplied with it and followed up on a regular basis.

Its the price that's putting me off! But I'm getting to the stage where if it works I'll take a loan out! What's the Healthy Trinity Pat?

Dear Coppertop

Unfortunately Symprove is not available on the NHS. If you go onto Amazon you can purchase a bottle for £13.50 with £6 postage. You will need more than 1 bottle for a trial period so 4 bottles + postage is £60. This is the cheapest I have found!! I was on Symprove for IBS-D for 6 months. I am back on it again now as I definitely feel better on it than off it. I know it is not cheap but if it works the benefits outway the cost. It is definitely worth a try!!

Well my first bottle has come today so I'm gonna give it a go, bit disappointed as all info says 50ml a day but it's actually 1ml per kg of body weight so I'll b having 84ml which makes it even more expensive! Amazon was £26.39 Inc del but is cheaper for four bottles so if it doesn't make me worse I'll b getting 4 & trying for 3 months will let u all know results

Hi all. New here but have tried Symprove. Have suffered with diagnosed IBS-D for nerly 30 years.

What a difference it made. I was taking, on average, 1 Imodium a day just to keep life normal. Now after 90 days and still taking half dose I'm only taking 1 a week. The cost is very steep but what is the price for feeling this well?

Buy direct from Symprove as they operate a discount scheme the more you purchase.

Give it a go, try the 90 days and buy the flavoured one :)
