Hi, I have been taking hyoscine butylbromide for my ibs and I am pretty sure it is giving me very big mood swings and making me feel quite low. I have googled it and it doesn't seem to be on the side effects and I was wondering if other people seem to be suffering with this particular side effect.

I see that what you have mentioned above goes under the name of Buscupan. Now I have to be honest I would never have thought of that side effect but it does make me question whether they have had that effect with me as my moods haven't been very food for quite a long time now. I have stopped taking Buscupan as it really doesn't work very well with me and purchased Kolanticon Gel Oral Suspension online and have just starting taking that for stomach cramps, wind etc. It's early days yet but I'm happy to let you know how I get on. With the two does I have taken I have to admit that the cramps have disappeared as with Buscupan I also have to make a hot water bottle as the cramps do not go.
