Ibs-d and fasting diet works for some...

Been reading about and discovered this thread about a fasting diet, that has nearly cured people of ibs-d, thought I would share.

Years ago I would go on a 3 day all clear liquids diet.... and it DID help my diarrhea... that was back in the 'good ol' days' when all my ibs amounted to was just pesky diarrhea in the mornings...no other symptoms...

Thanks Betty. The past three days I have eaten much smaller meals, and a real mix of everything and plenty of water as well, things seems to have slowed.

Interesting it had helped you as well, I guess it gives your gut a chance to heal a little and give it a rest too.

I tried to fast, when my stomach was so hot ,and everything was just going straight through. It did work .But then I starting getting the pain and so started eating again However the fasting did help with heated pain.Shortly after that I started on Buscopan(hyosene or something).
