A couple of years ago I was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes. However over the last year I have a number of issues with stomach cramping which is causing me distress. Generally the Gp and out of hours service have said it's simply a UTI, which appears to be more and more frequent and the Gp has said have kidney stones . as I am unable to sleep soundly and on the odd occasion I have awoken insanely hungry, and be time resulting in a trip to the supermarket at 0300 in the morning. On the other hand I may of eaten and feel full after having part of a piece of toast. I constantly have a desire to go to the toilet and always have diarrhoea, resulting in an embarrassing episode one day at work whereby my stomach began to churn and had a sudden urge to go... Frantically just made it to the toilet but had soiled myself and my mobile phone was in my bag elsewhere. I had to discard my underwear in a sanitary bin and remove my trousers to wipe splatters off them and the floor. However, beginning to disrupt my day to day life as frequently may be driving elsewhere and need to drive to local supermarket in which to use the toilet and had to beg one place to use the toilet by way of playing on my diabetes which I don't generally do.
The last couple of weeks the cramping in my stomach has got worse and not only taking my prescribed medication for my diabetes but buscopan three times a day as well as paracetamol to get me through the day.
I don't know what to do as in so much pain took myself to the hospital but just said carry on and go and see my Gp.
Can anyone advise?
