I'm off skiing over Christmas, really looking forward to it but what's putting me off is the thought of the journey the otherside. It's about 5 hours and potentially no loo. The anxiety is kicking in already. Any advice?

If its diarrhea, consider taking some natural herbs along with you in the journey, that can help to deal with diarrhea. homeveda.com/Natural-Remedi...
Just a thought!
Imodium plus, buy incontinence knickers or get your mum to buy them
Have wipes and spare knickers in handbag
Listen to music or audio tape
Rescue Remedy will help
You should also have a RADAR key which will open any disabled toilet
I agree with Maggiejemima, being prepared should ease some of your anxiety, having clean underwear, wipes etc and maybe a mini body spray too incase of any smell. Diarrhoea might be eased or stopped with Immodium or similar tablets, which might prevent you needing the loo until you get there. If you're still worked up maybe see your Doctor about anti-anxiety medication. Take care & hope you enjoy your holiday x
Thank you guys. Really appreciated
Hi fayecharlotte,
Read other posts n also would definately recommend Imodium or similiar.
Had a 10 hour flight ahead of me n worried about tummy/toilets etc.
Was flying pm the next day so took 1 Imodium the afternoon before n another that morning.
Everything was absolutely fine, tummy n bowels behaved themselves !!
Does take a few days for things to kick back in but I think it's worth it to have an anxiety/worry free journey.
Try it n good luck n happy xmas.
Anti anxiety meds. Imodium. Pads. Lots and lots of activities and things to do- draw, write. Colour. Etc......
If it's a 5 hour journey by coach the other end I would say there probably would be a loo.
Some wet wipes n clean Knicks I always carry with me just in case !!!
Try not too worry n just enjoy the trip.
Things have got worse, I've just been treated for what they said was a kidney infection but now saying there could be an infection elseware such as the bowel. Why do these things take so long! I'm loosing weight and it's stressing me out big time. On my 5th day of the anti-anxiety tablets so still waiting for it to kick in. I've been speaking with my mum and don't think I will be going skiing anymore because of how much of an impact everything is doing to me. Gutted but also seem releaved because I don't feel I am ready just yet.
