Hi, I had over the top high levels, went on antibiotic & probiotics . Did the low fodmap diet. Seemed to be a little more manageable. But after about 6months unfortunately symptoms started getting worse again. Took another round of antibiotics & seeing if I can get under control. I think majority of people get better If sticking with strict diet so the sibo doesn't have anything to grow off of. I for some reason just cant digest anything, even if its just white rice. so i think i have more issues going on than just sibo. The antibiotic is super expensive, you can try Canadian pharmacy or you can get the natural version from a naturopathic dr.

Thank you - what is the natural version?

Specific Carbohydrate Diet will help SIBO. Antibiotics are an option but you must get the beneficial bacteria population re-established in order to get long term relief.
