Hey all! First off I’m new to the group but also I’m new to my brain tumour! (Well 10 months new!!) last June I was diagnosed with a hypothalamic/optic pathway glioma and since then have been very much in the dark as to what is really going on 🤦‍♀️ I’ve had multiple MRI scans with and without contrast all of which have confirmed the tumour is stable with no signs of growth or change which is amazing news 🙏 but I can’t help feeling so scared and so uninformed about my condition. I met with a neurology specialist who basically just reassured me that “these tumours are mostly benign” but offered me no other info or reassurance about the tumour! Was hoping there is somebody out there with the same diagnosis who can maybe shed some light on things for me!

thanks for reading guys!
