When you/your loved one were first diagnosed with a Brain Tumour, what was your doctors initial advice?

Did your doctor have a treatment plan that you still follow or has this changed?

This experience can be really overwhelming so we have compiled a list of questions to ask when you see your medical team! thebraintumourcharity.org/b...

Doctors advice was 'DON'T GOOGLE' which was probably a good idea in hindsight, but not one that I followed.

I wasn't really given a treatment plan as I needed surgery pretty soon afterward and then spent the next few months recovering.

Serial googler here too. I think saying to not search on the internet for it is generally good advice as the majority may not apply to you and your specific circumstances. I googled it, I still do. I also didnt have a treatment plan, I was multiple surgeries; I was on a waiting listing for speech therapy (as its a long waiting time) but I cancelled this as was not longer needed. Hope all is going well.
