hello everyone i had tb and i was treated last year but recently i do the xray and result is minimal ptb undetermined and because of that result the job that i was applying rejected my application eventhough i have my medical clearance from my doctor. What am i going to do? Is there someone who can enlighten me about this problem?

Hi Jeliza05,I wish I had the answers for you but unfortunately it seems this is quite common with TB. Are you able to appeal or seek a second opinion?

Best wishes,

Helen

Hi minimal ptb is evidence of you having had tb and means non- severe but can still be picked up on an x-ray, (but equally it could be the start of something if you have never been diagnosed)

Unfortunately because nobody understands TB before and after treatment, everyone panics, and this looks like has what’s happened to you.

Maybe you can get some sort of letter from your doctors to explain this?
