Chest pain in upper center region

Hi everyone. I am under tb treatment since 8 months. I don't have symptoms such as weight loss , fever or cough.

After eating breakfast, Phlegm quickly builds up in upper left chest which I cough out. Now, i started experiencing chest pain at the upper- center region of chest.

It is like a needle piercing like pain. Anyone who has experienced this? Is this common?

My doctors are confident about the phlegm issue that it is not tb. However, I'm still going to ask them to do another sputum test.

It could be due to the excessive cough (musculoskeletal pain) but also make sure you consult your doctor to examine you and review your last xrays.
