Hi everyone. So I was diagnosed with TB 10 days ago and have been taking medicine accordingly. I feel like my cough has reduced but it's still there. I don't feel irritation in my chest but i have developed this habit of voluntary coughing to check for phlegm and sometimes it still comes out. Is it normal?
Otherwise, I don't have fever, chills, headache. My hunger is coming back , now I'm able to eat unlike before where i got tired while eating.

Hello dino10 from what you have said, it all sounds very promising! Coughing does not go overnight, it takes time and you seem to be responding to your treatment really well which is fantastic!
You cannot get rid of the symptoms overnight, so please do not be in a rush for everything to go. It can take weeks depending how severe it is. So please relax it will settle, but it will take time.
Yeah , everyone has been asking me to be very patient with TB. I just want to be normal soon... actually i want the itch in my chest to go away . For me that will really mean that I'm recovering but again i have to have patience ..
I think you should feel very confident that you are truly making a great improvement. Just reading back on your previous post shows the improvement. When we are suffering it is easy to get caught up in the daily struggles and not notice the subtle improvements. Great news!
Thank you so much for the reply. I do feel improvements in my health so I'm really thankful for that. I was just a bit worried about cough being there. Actually , its just an itch in the chest thats still there. Cough has reduced a lot. I hope the itchyness also goes away soon
