Hello Bobotkaho - I was ok until day 15 of my TB meds then I started coughing blood. My consultant said as long it wasn’t a lot, then it is kind of normal. I hope this helps alleviate some of your worries.

Hello - no sorry there is no answer to that. We are all individual including how much damage each of us had. Following TB there is so much damage and inflammation going on - mine went on for about two weeks, coughing blood, it wasn’t loads, I would say about a teaspoon. Best wishes to you.

Hi Bobotkaho,

I hope this issue has subsided as the TB medication starts to work, the medication should be taking effect well by now.

It is worth discussing with your TB doctor or nurse either way. If the issue gets worse contact a doctor asap.

Best wishes,

Helen
