Not gaining to NHS guidelines
Hello
If you do what they say you should gain the amount they want.
Do it because you want a happier and fulfilling life and not because gaining weight will get people off your back so you can slope back to your old ways.
Gain too quickly and you will panic more. Point out that any gain is a Step in the right direction a slow pace under your control would be better.
Good luck

Hi Horsemad, I wouldn't get too downhearted - my 14 year old daughter is being treated as an in-patient at an Eating Disorder Unit, and even they could only manage .1kg over 4 days last week. The body is a strange thing and sometimes I think the metabolism shifts. I'm not an expert, but hang on in there As la-la-la says, any gain is something to be proud of, and I also believe in 'slow and steady' rather than rushing it and then sliding back. Keep strong xx
I've gained 0.8kg this week!! Quite freaked out xxx
