Zydelig Reaction
I was on a
Zydelig
regimen but last year had a nasty case of pneumonia and I am currently in the hospital because after two years my body has decided to rebel against the treatment with full blown constant (4 times/hour) diarrhea.

Complications, complications, complications.
So when I was told that my maintenance drug Idelasilib’s side effects (
Zydelig
.) was probably causing diarrhoea I decided to accept this inconvenience against the good that the PI3K Inhibitor was doing.

BEWARE OF ZYDELIG
I took
Zydelig
for 3 months for Follicular Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma. I had a very serious adverse reaction to this drug resulting in Pneumonitis. I was hospitalized for a week and have never been that sick in my life. I almost died. After 2 weeks out of hospital, I had a relapse of pneumonitis.

The approval of

Zydelig
plus rituximab in 220 patients with relapsed CLL who were not able to tolerate standard chemotherapy.

Zydelig: The Black Box Warnings for use in CLL
Hi Friends, On my blog (http://bkoffman.blogspot.com), I have commented on the extensive black box warnings on the label for idelalisib or
ZYDELIG
that is a stark contrast to no black box for ibrutinib, not that IMBRUVICA doesn't come with its own set of cautions and concerns.

Details and Analysis of the FDA Approved Indications for Idelalisib PLUS Links for Financial Help
I will be parsing all this on my blog, but first I spent a quite a lot of time studying the indications and usage and speaking with experts on the new label for Idelalisib (or CAL-101 or GS-1101 or now
Zydelig
) and there are some subtle surprises in those details that I review in my blog.
