OK, a little good news , what is next?
I was getting myself geared up for
xtandi
or zytiga on top of ADT but now I feel i may not need it and maybe should stay the course? No pain just hot flashes and feeling ok and exercise daily. I want to be proactive!! I think this site is the best broad form of info out there!!

Triplet therapy after nadir?????
I assume that there are millions of cancer cells now being held in check by Zoladex and
Xtandi
, but I don’t know if there is any non-PSA growth going on. We have recently established that triplet therapy is a good thing to hit PCa with just after diagnosis.

missed the boat on triplet therapy?
My question is would there be any benefit of adding one of agents (zytiga,
xtandi
, nubeqa) at this point or would we not really obtain the summative effects/should we just at this point wait for a progression since he isnt treatment naive anymore? tia

Last week, after 3months of 160mg/day

Xtandi
and take 250mg of testosterone per week for 6 weeks after which plan is to restart

Xtandi Enzalutamide
My husband was on
Xtandi
. It was not effective, so he stopped taking it. However, he has a bottle of the tablets that are still in the sealed box (Exp 8/24). He received them through his insurance so the cost to him was minimal, but it is a very expensive drug if one does not have insurance.

Why does BAT work in so few?
https://www.jci.org/articles/view/162396 They are running a clinical trial to test cycling between T and
Xtandi
, after Zytiga failure. https://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT04363164

Xtandi
if my numbers start going back up? Suggestions ?

PSA Value Confusion
I started out with a very high PSA at dx with 480 but after 6 months of Degaralix and now going on nearly 6 months
Xtandi
, I'm down to PSA of 2. Instinctively, I feel that I should be continuing and knocking it all the way down to "undetectable".

My Turn to Ask a Question
In my case, this would mean coming off
Xtandi
and going onto Zytiga (abiraterone). Health Canada has not approved the use of Lutetium 177-PNT2002 for metastatic prostate cancer but has allowed its use in this study.

Is Pluvicto worth pursuing?
Started ADT with Firmagon April, 2021, and
Xtandi
May, 2021. Didn't tolerate ADT well with extreme fatigue, weight loss, muscle loss, food tastes bad, chronic sinus inflammation.

considering Pluvicto or Erleada
I also had a mild stroke over Christmas and almost back to “normal” PSA is up to 213 so I need to decide whether to try Erleada (I failed Zytiga and
Xtandi
) or opt for a Pluvicto regime. There is a doctor in Orlando doing the treatment. Has anyone here with kidney issues done Pluvicto yet ?

Short-term androgen annihilation in non-metastatic recurrent men delays progression
If one has rapid PSA after salvage radiation, and no metastases on conventional imaging yet, there may be an advantage to adding short-term (8 months-1 year) therapy with a 2nd line hormonal agent (Zytiga,
Xtandi
or Erleada): https://www.prostatecancer.news/2022/09/short-term-androgen-annihilation-in-non.html

Xtandi-Lupron Side Effect Questions
By July 21 they had him on Lupron and
Xtandi
by September. His numbers went way, way down so they were able to cut him back to half the Xstandi to help with dizziness issues that Xstandi & Flomax were causing, that helped but numbers crept back up, so he's now on 3/4 dose.

Xofigo or Chemo?
He suggested to take Xofigo +
Xtandi
or ... Chemotherapy. Tough choice but the Zytiga is not working. Meanwhile he accepted my suggestion to try the SLASH /Lu177 clinical trial as long as it doesn't have a late start.

I’m wondering if the headaches are from the

or the BP pills. Any thoughts will be appreciated.
