Still in the fight 13 years out using SBRT for tumors and Lupron and Xtandi for system wide control currently. Just wondering if there are any trials out there using mRNA technologies to harness the human immune system in the fight. Seems like a logical next step.

Are there any clinical trials currently using mRNA technologies to fight PC?

Hello,
From what I understand BioNTech and its American partner Pfizer are looking to start clinical trials of their cancer vaccines this year. The first trials are slated for Britain. They are currently deciding which types of cancer they want to test their personalized cancer immunotherapies on and which locations. The company wants their therapy which is based on messenger RNA (mRNA) technology similar to the one that underpins its COVID-19 vaccine to soon become a regular treatment for cancer patients. Sounds encouraging!
With pc being the most common cancer in men in the UK let's hope it makes the list for mRNA clinical trials in Britain.
I have seen a couple of articles that say trials are going to start in the UK this September. UK plan for national mRNA cancer vaccine advance bbc.co.uk/news/health-64176038
There is a thread on this here
