Anyone with osteoarthritis and chronic asthma??
I've recently started uniphyllin after stopping
xolair
and just on the basic starting dose currently of this. Does anyone have osteoarthritis with really chronic severe pain restricting their quality of life and this was only diagnosed for me 18 months ago.

2 Steps Forward 1 Step Back...
I was wondering, if my doctor decides not to commence me on Spiriva in the new year, is it worth mentioning
Xolair
? Can't remember where I heard about it or why I think it may work, but has anyone had any experience with it? Thanks for your replies in advance!

XOLAIR
Anyone been on
xolair
for a fair amount of time and decided it's not for them and stopped it. I've been on it 2.5 years, no improvement with symtoms and feel its a lot of money for little if any difference. Just wondered if there are others out there like me. Thanks

No control of asthma symptoms long term
I feel despite:
xolair
I'm having, regular chest infections, currently have pneumonia and can't get any relief breathing except taking lots of puffs of Ventolin, which then causes anxiety feelings and marked tremors of my hands.

Aerosol sprays
I'm on
xolair
injections, high dose fostair, and ventolin I also have my own nebuliser at home. Not getting any relief. Now thinking I'm going to have to start high dose steroids again which really pees me off. Just because of a thoughtless act by a probably still smelly teenager!

Feel so out of control
It's like the worst hangover I've had but it won't go away :( I know my consultant is doing everything he can, he's sent an urgent referral to the severe asthma clinic in Leeds (my nearest) and I'm waiting on
Xolair
injections but I just feel so fed up and like I'm losing my normal life.

Unstable, uncontrolled asthma and been on every possible inhaler, I'm on xolair also. ANY ONE ON THEOPHYLLINE??
Hello Just a statement above but I'm 54 and under the respiratory team at hospital as I get my
xolair
injections there every two weeks. Not much improvement imo but I asked about uniphyllin or theophylline and consultant declined.

I am a Brittle Asthmatic seeking others who know how I'm feeling! Feel completely alone with all of it.
I am now on
Xolair
injections every two weeks and its really changing my life for the better already. But although the physical side of the effects of the asthma is getting better, I still feel sort of 'psychologically damaged' by the way it has controlled me throughout my entire teenage years.

HUVS and Xolair (omalizumab)
After trying out antihistamines, plaquenil, corticosteroides, dapsone, azatioprine, methotrexate, hydroxychloroquine my doctors gave me
Xolair
(omalizumab). After six shots a felt better then ever. Now they won't give me any more. The reason given is little research and scientific evidence.
