Hi. I have been taking Flecainide for 10 days now 50mg twice daily for PVCs and none sustained runs of VT. They haven’t worked has much than I thought they would. My EP said if the Flecainide don’t work then I could have an ablation. I was just wondering what the odds are if the ablation making my PVCs

New to the AF group
He then diagnosed me with Non Sustained

and put me on low dosage of Metoprolol 12.5mgs. (i wonder if there is a NSVT group?) He told me not to worry and even recommend getting back to my running routine of 2 mile runs.

Weaning off Bisoprolol
Hi there, Anybody else experienced difficulties weaning off Bisoprolol? I am nearly 12 months post ablation for VT and PVCs, despite a turbulent time, my ablation has been deemed a success. I have just dropped my final dose of 1.25mg ( I was originally taking 10 mg) which I have weaned off over the

PVCs have made me almost bed bound at 32
I’m hoping to feel less alone with this. I’m 32 years old, history of VSD as a child, and two weeks ago I was running 5k and weight lifting 6 times a week. I started off with just one or two “episodes” of ectopics when working out (these are a few seconds long with many ectopic beats). These have increased

Wiggly arteries stopping ablation
I had an ablation for severe
ventricular
tachycardia
and arhythmias, via the groin. The arteries were so “wiggly” that the catheter tore an artery and ablation was abandoned. A repeat a few months later also had to be abandoned. The condition is now controlled by meds only (Bisoprolol, Ramipril).

Flecainide for VT
Hi, Is anyone taking Flecainide for VT ? I have been suffering with PVCs for the last 3 years. I’m currently taking 10mg of Nebivolol which don’t seem to be working. I have previously taken Varapamil and Bisoprolol which didn’t work either. My EP has suggested trialing Flecainide first before going down

Pre Ventricular Contractions Diagnosis
Hi everyone! I am new here and this is my first post/question. I was recently diagnosed with PVCs by a cardiologist. He prescribed Metoprolol but my heart beats were still 18.9% PVCs, so he recommended me to an Electrophysiolgist for ablation consideration. Now reading posts here I see that people

Ventricular tachycardia
I’ve looked up
ventricular
tachycardia
and I’m wondering if that’s what I had . It can be caused by scaring of the heart ( ablation).

Pvcs all day and chest discomfort
Hi I am a 50yr old female and have had svt and ectopic beats for the last almost thirty years. My ectopic beats are all day every day and are caused by changes in air for example the wind outside windows that are open and steam from a pan or kettle. I have found them worse now than they have ever been

PVCs a way to stop them, I find.
I have discovered that when they start, if I stretch my arms up for about 10 seconds above my head (as you do when waking up in the morning, a good yawn and stretch), they quickly subside to normal rythm, If they return I do the same again. You can watch on a pulseoximeter - it goes from 39 - 70

Thoughts on Dr. Malcolm Kendrick?
I am new to this site, a retired Canadian nurse with high blood pressure and frequent PVC issues. I have read all of the British GP Dr. Kendrick’s books, and am curious about what sense others may have of his opinions. I know he has been vehemently dismissed by the medical establishment as anti big

Pacemaker advice
I've been offered a pacemaker after having very slow and high heartbeats and a recent holter confirmed heart pauses and PVCS borderline over 10% of daily 100.000 bpm. I know lots of you have pacemakers Can you give me advice on the pros and cons.. Thanks Janet

AF/VT after Covid - My Story
They found
ventricular
tachycardia
& kept me in overnight. I've been given 2.5g bisoprolol twice a day, & 5mg x 2 Apixaban. Since then my resting HR stays around 50-60 & I've had no AF episodes. However when I do gentle exercise (cycle, slow jog) my HR can soon go up to 130 - is this normal?

Melatonin can induce arrhythmia!
ARTICLE
: "Sleep Medications Containing Melatonin can Potentially Induce Ventricular Arrhythmias in Structurally Normal Hearts: A 2-Patient Report" https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/labs/pmc/articles/PMC5642341/ Yikes! As I had reported earlier, I seemed to have miraculously ended my afib inadvertently

Thinking Back
Well before my PAF attacks were recognised, I used to feel quite ill after spraying roses (tired and lethargic). Also if the council came around the streets spraying weeds on pavements that would affect me too. I have to admit I don't spray roses anymore. Also cleaning the bath with a spray cleaner
