Frustrated
Spoke to triage nurse explained that I wss still struggling getting breathless and tight chested and using lots of
ventolin
. She told me too much
ventolin
will make you breathless and that I couldn't see gp till next Monday. I insisted I see someone sooner had this conversation Wednesday.

So frustrating
Use lots of
ventolin
, but then I'm wide awake. It's all frustrating and exhausting

Cough
Had to get the on call doctor out this afternoon and he has given me a prescription for clarithromycin antibiotic, told me to up the
ventolin
and symbicort. I have another infection and he said there is mucus in the lungs that needs to be shifted. Also ointment for my conjunctivitis.

Rapid breathing and heart rate
Yesterday had huge quantity of
ventolin
got emergency appoint with gp. Saw gp yesterday now on prednisilone. I'm fine if I sit still, doing anything makes me really breathless and my breathing and heart rate shoots up. Does anyone else get this.

Dry mouth
Hi everyone, I take symbicort, spiriva and
ventolin
does anyone out there who uses these inhalers puff all three at once or wait I between each one before the next puff, also I know symbicort can cause dry mouth so I always rinse after use but I still get a dry mouth especially at night.

COPD
They apologised, I was put on intravenous ciprofloxacin.nebulised
ventolin
and oxygen. I came home 6 days later. The community respiratory nurses have been to see me, I used a nebuliser at home for 4 weeks, the physio has also been out twice.

Going from cold to hot
It's taking quite a bit of
Ventolin
which leaves me shaky and having paliptations. I am a teacher in a seniors school and a youth worker and have 2 children so i can't really just sit down and it can be quite distressing for the Children im working with or my own children.

Does anyone have problems using Seretide Inhaler.
I am getting older and now at 68 this year I am struggling with constant infections, disturbed nights and consequent tiredness, I use Spiriva and
Ventolin
inhalers without any problems but after using Seretide twice a day I seem to worsen my coughing and the mucus which is a serious problem these days

7 year old daughter poorly AGAIN :(((((((
With constant visits to my doctors/asthma nurse having had 4 lots of antibiotics, prednisolone, clenil &
ventolin
daily & going back on montelukast (which she was taken off of because she had such a good run all summer), she was then hit with pneumonia in November.

Chest infection... Help :(
She said I have a chest infection which has triggered asthma (I have not had an inhaler since I was 8) I am on 30mg of prednisolone, 1000mg of erythromycin (4X 250mg throughout the day) and a
ventolin
inhaler.

stepping down ....yeah!
I've only had symptoms 3-4 times and therefore barely used my
ventolin
. So I skipped off to the asthma nurse to discuss reducing my medication.

Is it really asthma?
It remains around 250, even after
Ventolin
. Luckily I am attack-free and my life is not affected by the asthma. But is it really asthma I have???? Could whooping cough cause it? I am not allergic to dust, but I do sometimes feel a tightness with strong chemical smells.

Thank you
He told me to increase the seretide and
ventolin
and if things get any worse to ring the surgery straight away. Once again thank you all so much, you were a great comfort in the early hours of this morning. God bless Marie.

Feeling Dreadful -don't know which way to turn now!
He prescribed a preventer puffer twice a day and
ventolin
to use as required.. He said NOT to take the Naproxfen as this would make the asthma worse (so go back to Codrydamol for pain!).
