Wheeze & cough for 2 years - I fear lung cancer!
The respiratory consultant said I have allergies to my cats.....I wheeze from my throat...not my lungs....I use my
ventolin
inhaler and the wheeze goes within 10 seconds......but the cough lingers and lingers......

Dr refusing Ventolin
My GP refuses to give me
Ventolin
and Seretide due (as he puts is) to the CCG rules. I am allowed to take Salamol and Sirdupla as these are recommended by the CCG. However, Salamol is horrible, leaves a nasty taste, makes my throat sore and dry. GP still refuses me

Skipping meds
I still use my Spiriva daily and usually
Ventolin
once or twice a day. My thinking is that since the Symbacort has a steroid component, the less I use it the better, especially if I don't feel I need it. I see my pulmo again next month, so I will run this by her.

Supermarket pharmacists will be selling
ventolin
soon this should have happened years ago it would have saved a lot of people struggling to get meds when needed urgently.

Has anybody fond Formoterol Oxis etc to be better with less reflux or indigestion?
I have tried the combination Seretide,
Ventolin
and Serevent and they all give me really bad reflux. I'm on a PPI etc but it only makes it just about bearable.

How to tactfully put across "no wheeze can still = asthma"
I'm using
ventolin
3- 4 times a day, but think that actually I'm probably underusing it, however, it does work when I use it, and mostly lasts at least 4 hours.

Illness
Had to use my steroid asthma pump and
ventolin
to be able to cough. This is new for me, I usually take a week to get over colds and coughs. Is it to do with my liver cirrhosis. Can I expect this prolonged illness each time.

Have recrntl6 been put on Symbicort (Smart) after I was told Seritide was being discontinued and that it would replace my

As at then I do use

No
Ventolin
used now for almost a month, and on 2 x 2 puffs of Foster daily, as well as Montekulast. I've been off oral steroids now for a month and the Citalapran really seems to have kicked in too, so I don't feel a fraction as miserable and anxious as I did.

Never know what's going on with my asthma...
On 3 occasions I had a paramedic sent to me as I was really struggling (after plenty of
ventolin
) but every time I was checked over my chest was fine. These occurrences have led me to doubt my symptoms. Now I'm 26 and 99% of the time I feel fine.
