Advice please
I’ve been using my
Ventolin
every day for last week or so I’m still using my
Ventolin
once or twice a day with the increased Qvar. I want to speak to my GP again as not happy about this lack of improvement.

After a while it was reduced to 1 puff morning and night and I have been great, only using my
Ventolin
a couple of times in all that time.

I am new to Asthma
Am on Zenhale (Dulara),
Ventolin
, and Singulair. In the first month of diagnosis, I was seen by a pulmonologist, but he since moved away. He never gave me an action plan, so I figure I don’t need one? Anyway, I work at a local hospital in the ER and NICU departments.

What is wrong with me? Losing the will to live!
So I went back to GP end of Feb and was moved onto Relvar and swapped from Bricanyl to
ventolin
/salamol. Start of April my asthma’s got really bad and has been completely uncontrolled since. Due to COVID fears I spent 4 days in bed on nebs when I probably should have gone to a&e.

Stress and asthma?
More a calm knowing that I needed to stop and get more air in my lungs and just found myself sitting in the back door way in fresh air and had 3 puffs of my
ventolin
and then was a better. The reason I ask is I had my best peak flow tonight of 490 but dont usually have 3 puffs at one time.

I'm back! 😊
Because I now take steroid inhalers and
ventolin
, despite still not having a diagnosis, I'm at home, socially distancing myself from everyone.....including family who still have to work😔 That's the grim stuff outta the way!

Asthma U.K. advice on seeking urgent care
It says call 111 and tell them how often you use
Ventolin
and that it is not helping sufficiently. For me this doesn’t work. I am terrible at remembering to use
Ventolin
. Not totally hopeless, but terrible. I have to tell myself, remember to tell myself, to use it.

Hello I'm new here can someone put my mind at rest please?
I use my
ventolin
quite often. I had what i gather, an asthma attack in bed last week. As i never experienced something so bad, coughing fit, tight chest, crying, not so much shortness of breath. Never experiened this as a panic/ anxiety attack.

Define severe asthma
Right now the only inhaler I take is the qvar daily and
ventolin
when needed. However, in the last 4-5 months I've had several doses of steroid tablets and also a hospital visit for a nebuliser. Prior to this though I was controlled for around 10 years! So am I classed as severe asthma?

Working in a Nursery and Stricter Social Distancing
As soon as that kicks in properly my asthma nurse was on about upping my Clenil or changing it anyway, plus I'd be using my
ventolin
more! I hope everyone is staying well and safe x

Should I attend my hospital appointment?
(Recently increased) Rarely taking
Ventolin
. Also taking amarys spray for allergy and nasal polyps. Is it worth the travel?

I am on Duoresp Spiramax 160/4.5 2 puffs twice a day and up to 8 extra puffs a day (12 in total), I am on Monteleukast and

Chest tightness/pain
Ventolin
helps but the intense chest tightness soon returns. It’s like a deep, deep ache and is driving me crazy. I’m having the usual other asthma stuff including wheezing, breathlessness and breathing through a straw.

Currently under investigation for asthma
I've been using symbicort 100/6 for 3 month, and the 1st 2 weeks were great- symptoms were gone and never used
ventolin
in that time, but I only get about 5 hours relief with that now before I need my
ventolin
.

Hello-
I have had many different inhalers , but could not let go of the
ventolin
. Because, I knew I would be f****ed without it. I started hiding it by walking off when I couldn’t breathe or going home from things. I’ve been very short of breath again and very unhappy about this which makes it worse.
