Past nasal drip leads to tidness when breathing

Hi I have already been mentioning my problems with past nasal drip and got very helpful advice as my GP not even explained what it was. I received a prescription for a nasal spray (Mometasone Furoate,) take Ventolin when needed(,although it doesn't help for my problem,,) and Clenil 2hubs 2 a day. My main problem now is that in spite of this all my breathing feels restricted due to the feeling of having a lump at the bottom of my throat. Sometimes I can cough the glen off but it comes back quickly. Mentioned it to GP but no response as it is not a bronchitis.

Lump in throat feeling can be linked to acid reflux. Could it be that?

Sleep propped up so it doesn’t gather? Really improves mine. Have you tried saline washouts? Look online or asthma or allergy uk

If you think it's post nasal drip with a collection of phlegm in the throat as a result, you could try using Beconase nasal spray for about 4 weeks to see if that helps. It's a steroid spray and so will take a little while to work.

If that doesn't do the trick and you've tried antacids it could be something else altogether that requires investigation by an ENT specialist.
