Re: "A Possible Solution For ... Peripheral Neuropathy ..."
I have some interest in this going back to 2016 when my wife was on
Velcade
, a multiple myeloma chemo drug. At one point she became virtually bedridden because of nerve pain in her feet. We had to get special footwear so that she could get out for her infusions, etc.

Velcade
I'm getting ready to start a regiment of
Velcade
, one shot on a Tuesday, then again on Friday; repeated for another week, off a week, then repeated again for two weeks. Has anyone had this shot and if so, please tell me about how you felt after the shot. Thanks

multiple myeloma on pancreatic and pelvic as extramedullary plasmacytoma
She already has more than forty cycles of maintenance chemotherapy without stem cell transplant (SCT) by using
Velcade
around fifty five months. She keeps asking me when she does not need any treatment after almost all results of blood work and MRI show in normal range.

Imbruvica side effects
Some eleven years ago the drug
Velcade
caused neuropathy in my feet but as time passed the terrible soreness improved greatly. Now, I have a similar soreness. It seems that my body has become very sensitive to any physical pressure. Yet, up to this point Imbruvica has been a life saver for me.

Introducing Myself
In the past, I have been teated with Revlimid,
Velcade
, Kyprolis, Pomalyst and the ever popular, Dexamethasone. Currently, I am in a clinical trial taking Panobinostat, MLN9708 and Dex. We hope to get my numbers down so that I can proceed to a RIC Allogeneic stem cell transplant.

NGGU presentation
My system did not accept the
velcade
(bortezomib), and very early on I became pretty sick. Late February I told the doctor that I didn't want anymore chemo. He was hell-bent on the
velcade
but I insisted that I wanted no more of that stuff.
