Experiences with

Vascepa

I have recently been approved to take Vascepa as I have very high Triglycerides and have previously had a heart attack. I haven’t started taking it yet, but I was just wondering if anyone had experience of this drug that they could share. Many thanks.

RLS - Ropinirole HCL 2mg 1 tablet 3 x daily Metformin HCL - ER 50 Blood Pressure - ER Metoprolol 200mg 1 x daily Vascepa 1gram capsule take two pills twice daily - Cholesterol Clonazepam 0.5 mg - 3 tablets at bedtime – Sleep/Anxiety/RLS Metformin HCL - ER 500 mg 2 twice daily Fenofibrate 160

I do take statins crestor 20mg, low dose aspirin and vascepa, plus the Lupron of course. Maybe those things affect the aforementioned blood levels? Anybody have any knowledge on this subject? Thanks, George

However, USFDA has approved one concentrated form of standalone EPA called Vascepa... to be used along with a statin to counter high Triglyceride level which is a high risk factor for Heart failure... As we all know T2DM's carry heart risk....
