Does anyone have this condition? I've had it since 1982. I had a very low Calcium level. Been taking 1mcg(1microgram) of One-Apha (alphacalcidol) ever since on prescription, to maintain my Calcium level. However, now after 40 years, I can't get any from any of my local pharmacies. It's made by Leo

More calcium chat
A few weeks ago, a poster questioned the necessity of calcium + d3 while on ADT. Several responders seemed to suggest that supplementation may increase PCa risk. I am currently in my 16th month of leuprolide treatment. At the beginning of my treatment a bone density scan found that I was "mildly

Decrease in Levo?
Hi, I’d gratefully like to receive your advice on whether or not I should ask for a decrease in levo from 100 mcg to 75 mcg. My problem is, I’m slightly over medicated but not enough to advise a reduction. However, the higher my dosage the more weight I pile on, especially on my midriff and stomach.

'Too much' brain calcium may cause Parkinson's
Before my diagnosis I always had Low level of Vitamin D (like many of Pwpd) and High level of PTH (Parathyroid hormone) but normal calcium level. This study is from 2018 but Calcium concept has been intriguing me for years specially after I was diagnosed with Idiopathic Parkinson's disease.

I’m 64 and coming up to my fifth year (October). I was told “It’ll probably burn itself out in a year or so! Having said that I’m down to 5mg Pred. I’ve tried to reduce, very slowly and actually got down to 2mg but after a week couldn’t walk again. So … Pred it is. I’m resisting taking Omeprazole

Looking for Ozzie Bob
Around the middle of May this year, Ozzie Bob posted a link to a story about an A-Fib sufferer who spent about 10 years systematically trying one thing (supplement, vitamin, mineral etc) at a time until he discovered a "cure" for himself. I remember he found he had to keep Calcium lowish and I think
