Has anyone with PBC been through the Adoption process?
My husband and I are 8 months into the adoption process and following our medicals, my PBC has been highlighted as an issue. I advised them of my condition at the beginning and it was not a problem, but now it appears it is. Has anyone with PBC been through this, i am currently looking to appeal. My

Hi - New to Forum, PBCer for 3 years
Hi, I have just joined so thought I'd introduce myself, I'm 35 and was diagnosed with PBC in 2009 after tests showed Derranged LFT's and I was referred for a Liver biopsy. Funny thing is, I had only gone to the GP's as I had slight breathing problems and a little abdominal pain. When the doc called

PBC and symptoms: not sure if this is a question or a rant!
I went back to the docs today for the results of my first post Ursofalk blood tests. I've been on the Ursofalk for 4 weeks. The difference was amazing - the alp and ggt are way way down - the dip in the graph is something to behold. I was really pleased with that but very frustrated that there is zero

how do you manage fatigue, including feelings of 'drunkeness' and problems with memory and concentration?
I would love to know how people have been able to beat or manage fatigue and problems with brain fuzziness (for want of a better word). Does ursofalk help with these symptoms? I am new to pbc - diagnosed just yesterday. I have been ill for about a year and off work for about 9 months. The main issues

HI, can anybody help a confused new sufferer please?
Does anyone out there have "cross-over syndrome? The results of my liver biopsy stated autoimmune hepatitis with some features of PBC and sclerosing cholangitis?? My GP said that this is because they don't know what it is and will have to keep taking chunks of my liver out to find out. Helpful? Just

I was diagnosed in 2011 with PBC. Started with Questran. Then given UrsoFalk - which made my itching much worse. So gave up taking it.
Am now trying again with UrsoFalk, this time building up the dosage to 3 tablets a day; now 10 days in and on 2 tablets per day. Still itching but not as much as I did the first time. Has anyone any thoughts on the best times of day to take 3 tablets (next week).
