Introducing myself
I have been on a number of different medications but finally went on
Tysabri
back in 2008-2009 and it has been working for me. I am JCV negative. I have found that constant therapy and exercise helps to minimize my pain.

New to site..questions regarding pain..
I was diagnosed a little over a year ago with RRMS and have since had 2 relapses while waiting to get on
Tysabri
. The crawling, itchy feeling at night has been a problem, but it has now gone into pain.

Multiple MS therapies?
He wanted me to take
Tysabri
but I tested positive for the JC Virus with high numbers; he won't prescribe it and my insurance said they wouldn't cover it. Is it normal to have tried so many different therapies and still continue to have new active lesions?

Working with MS
I started on Copaxone, then Tecfidera, and am now on
Tysabri
. I have only 3 lesions in my brain. Lesions in my spinal column are my major problem.

Lady DI - I am new to this site .
I have even done Novantrone Chemotherapy for 3 1/2 years & had 4 treatments of
Tysabri
when it first came out. Then I got a call at 9:00 pm from my Neurologist telling me to stop it immediately because of PML.

Hello
Did the Techfidera &
Tysabri
but it was useless. Decided to be my own health advocate & feeling the best since my diagnose. February 2nd was my last infussion. Went from walking 3 blocks to 7.9 miles.

Meds or MS
I am currently on Tecfidera, I was on
tysabri
for 8 months and got really sick with a sinus infection and bronchitis. Had the bronchitis for 2-1/2 months before getting rid of it. Now I'm back on Tecfidera and sick with the sinus infection again. It does not seem to be clearing up.

Introducing myself
I have been on Betaseron, Copaxone (twice - 7 & 3 day), Rebif and
Tysabri
. Getting ready to start Tecfidera. I also now have Type 1 Diabetes, Hashimotos, Fibromyalgia, Arthritis and Celiac. MS stinks. It was the beginning of a very challenging adulthood and took a lot of "normalcy" from me.
