Forgotten how it feels!
I have had 3 rounds of
Truxima
infusions and was doing well but had to stop as needed a hip replacement. Was due the infusion early December 2018 so been off since then until 3 days ago when I had my first one with the next planned for a fortnight.

EXPERIENCE OF RITUXIMAB AND TRIXUMA INFUSIONS TO CONTROL RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS - ALSO USE OF ABATACEPT with or without Methotrexate therapy
After checking the information on
Truxima
I was quite concerned when I found out this biosimilar was only licensed on 17 February 2017, so just 2 years ago, and that it carries a black inverted warning triangle indicating that the long term side effects are not known yet.

Truxima (Rituximab) Desperate for some hope and others experiences
I had my first infusion of
Truxima
on 2nd Jan and my symptoms have worsened. I'm scared by how bad my RA has become and I don't know how much longer I can hold on to my job. Feel like I'm starting to give up.

Truxima infusion
Yay finally, infusion set for Thursday, 2 days to go, as long as my blood tests don't do a dicky fit (excuse the term, don't mean to offend). I did have an infusion in December but I've gone 21 months, with a couple of Dmard attempts only taking painkillers which only do so much. Most of the current

Infusion completed
Hi all, finally completed my Rituximab/
Truxima
infusions, I should have had my 2nd infusion 2 weeks ago but sadly our niece passed away so we had her funeral to go to, she was only 37, it certainly makes you think of your own motality, I'll do my best to be as cheerful as her.

Pain meds
To be honest I took some anyway but I'm not sure whether to still ask at GP's or Rheumatology , I'm going to have to chase up if I'm getting
Truxima
when I get back anyway. Sorry everyone, I know we're not all medically trained but any advice will be gratefully accepted.

Truxima and secondary OA
Just wondering about my next
Truxima
infusion and how much it could help my elbows which have secondary OA due to RA inflammation. The surgeon who I am under for my elbows wanted to see if my medications helped the joints 1st before deciding on the replacements.

Biosimilars compared with rituximab
My next infusion will be
Truxima
, a biosimilar for Rituximab. Has anyone noticed any difference when changed to
Truxima
?

How many Lupus patients here have been offered biologics?
At 52, having been dx since 1989 and after umpteen operations and every medication I was told was available and have taken, I then challenged my consultant re biologics and was then passed straight over to acute medicine and within weeks have had my first two infusions of Rituximab (
Truxima
) due to reacting
