Hashimoto struggling
My GP is getting pretty tired of me having my tsh levels checked and are not interested in my
tpo
and tgab levels. I have had them done through medichecks but again,my GP isn't interested in looking at the results. I am tired and don't really know what to do.

So upset after today’s Endo appt
She thinks I’m hyperthyroid as opposed to hypothyroid (despite all my symptoms, which she actually says doesn’t look thyroid related to her) which she is obviously basing on my suppressed TSH levels and stated straight to my face that positive
TPO
anti-bodies are irrelevant and don’t indicate Hashimotos

TPO Antibodies in Hashimoto’s and Graves’ Disease by Dr Eric Osansky
In summary, thyroid peroxidase (
TPO
) antibodies are the most common type of thyroid antibody. Although they are more strongly associated with Hashimoto’s, 80% of those with Graves’ disease will have elevated
TPO
antibodies.

Blood testing
Such as ferritin , FT3, antibodies (
TPO
) Then I call the reception and ask for my results, nothing has ever been questioned.

Getting ready to go my GP for first appointment since some blood test results. I had a sub-total thyroidectmy in the early 1990's due to a goitre. have not felt well since. I have been taking 50 mg levo thyroxine for about 11 years. I was diagnosed as having fibromialga a few years ago.Only got some

Confused by thyroid test results
Results were: TSH 8.07 (>4.3) FT4 16.3 (12-23) FT3 3.41(3.1-6.8)
TPO
106 Kiu/l (>34) T4 92.6 (66-181) Tgab 334 ku/l (>115) So I went to see the doctor who said it seemed likely.

Thyroid not inflamed
TPO
Antibodies are negative and TG Antibodies is positive. The doctor said it was a little high, but not enough. He also said my thyroid is not inflamed because if it was I would have hollered out when he was pressing on my neck, so maybe mine was from a bacterial or viral infection.

MRI shows nothing but could it still be a possibility that I have Central Hypothyroidism; and do I need to take iron supplements?
I recently posted here that my thyroid results were: TSH 0.79 (0.40-4.00); FT4 12.9 (11.5-22.7); FT3 3.4 (2.8-6.5); RT3 .29 (.14-.54); TG less than 32 (less than 40);
TPO
less than 14 ((less than 34) I was having an MRI for tinnitus and wondered if it would show up any CH.
