Asthma's my latest diagnosis!
Hi all I've had all sorts of things since October 2012, including the flu (or something like it: all this is post-viral), post-viral hyper-reactivity, asthma (first diagnosis at GP), pneumonia, chest infections (various, 'treated' with antibiotics), pleurisy, HIV sero-conversion illness (after assessment

Is there any alternatives to Tiotropium capsules inhalers
I wonder if there are any alternatives to Tiotropium inhalers as there is a shortage in my area. My Dr tried me on a Seabri inhaler but it made me shake too much. He said there were no others but my specialist at hospital said that there were but it was a matter of cost. Does anyone know if this is

I have COPD but not sure what stage GP did not say!!!
I was diagnosed in june this year with COPD, i am on Salmeterol twice a day, Tiotropium once a day and ventolin as and when. Would this be classed as mild/ moderate copd?

Spiriva supply problem
There's been a brief interruption to the supply of tiotropium refill capsules - stocks should be back in most pharms from tomorrow. So if you've got a script in for them and there has been a delay, that'll be why. You may also find that you receive a full handihaler + refill pack rather than just a

what is tiotropium?
I have been to the Doc's with what I thought was a throat infection but I was wrong, the symptoms are a tight constricted throat with the feeling of a lump and shortness of breath, my friend suggested it may be anxiety which is more than likely. I have been prescribed tiotropium inhaler, the only other
