chronic asthma methotrexate
He is not responding to IV Amonophollin,Steroids no longer work, nor his
Terbutaline
sub-cut. and consultants are suggesting Methotrexate. I know that this is an old drug and is used for the treatment of cancer, but has any-one any 1st hand experience of this?

Bambuterol/Bambec, anyone on it?
I think it is a turns into
terbutaline
so is a bronchodilator, its a tablet and I take 10mg twice a day. Its reduced the need for me to use my inhaler/nebs so often. Would be great if anyone can tell me more about it.

Sodium Hypochloride.....bleach etc
I take many inhalers at unliscenced doses, multiple tablets, long term high dose steroids and a sub-cutaneous pump of
terbutaline
/salbutamol. To go back to my post title my question is this; Does anyone else have a massive problem with any sodium hypochloride based product?

Supply of Bricanyl for Sub-cut
The issue is that I live in Australia and the only form of
Terbutaline
you can get here is 0.5mg/1ml ampoules (from AstraZeneca).

subcutaneous infusion abscesses
I have been on a subcut infusion of
terbutaline
for some time and have recently started to get very painful abscesses where I have placed the infusion. Because of this I have changed over to Sof sets but the problem hasn't gone away. I constantly seem to be on anti biotics as a result.

Any tips on getting funding from PCT for s/c pump
I have been on subcut
Terbutaline
for about a month now and the results have been brilliant. I feel like I have my life back - with a few modifications! I have a McKinley T34 which works well apart from the annoying beeps for almost an hour before the infusion ends.

OMALIZUMAB
Although he is not possitive that this will work for long (
Terbutaline
sub-cut, theophllyn, steroids ony worked for 15 months max), he is at least taking all his other meds! I think we may have turned a corner, though I am sure there will be many more bends along the way. xxx

Continuous Subcutaneous Terbutaline
I am due to start a trial of subcutaneous
Terbutaline
on Wednesday and would welcome some info about this. I have looked online and found some papers etc, but nothing much about it from a patient's perspective.
