Why did they let me off the ADT hook so easily?
Aggressive, with Lupron,
Taxotere
and Zytiga starting at 3 months post op followed by the radiation. PSA has been undetectable throughout but I know I'm definitely high risk. The ADT was scheduled for 2 years.

Radiation Therapy to the Sinus Area
Just after I stopped
taxotere
treatments, I went into the hospital with headaches and double vision. It turned out that my PC had spread to to the bone structure in my sinus cavity. I have started cabazitaxel and the initial results as reported are excellent.

What's Next?
Ten years ago surgery, then IMRT, several years of Lupron/Bicalutamide, Provenge, Radium 233,
Taxotere
and currently Jevtana. I am Stage 4 with bone/lymph node mets. PSA rising after 4 infusions of Jevtana (180). Bone scan/CT update in two weeks. Lost 35#, but still vertical.

CT scan not what I'd hoped😔
I completed round 6 of
taxotere
mid August and will continue with herceptin and perjeta infusions which I have been having along side the chemo. So back to the results...he started off by telling me that it's complicated so I knew where this was going!

Very Informative Podcast
Some here oppose that but Scholz was using
Taxotere
long before it was approved by FDA. He was also combining zytega with lupron long before that early combination was shown to reduce deaths by over 40%.

Will new chemo make lymphoedema worse
The Docetaxol (
taxotere
) part has edema listed as a side effect as well as nerve damage. Has anyone had chemo since developing lymphoedema and did it make it worse? I'm considering asking for other drug options have do not have those side effects.

Keytruda
I have been at this fight for 6 years,
Taxotere
, casodex, lupron, xgeva, Xtandi. They all worked until they didn't. I am still on lupron and xgeva. I had my first infusion of Keytruda on July 2.

Drinking green tea whilst on chemo?
Good morning ladies, I am wondering whether I can resume drinking green tea whilst I'm currently on
taxotere
? I've been a green tea drinker for a few years now but stopped when I started chemo as I'm certain I'd heard somewhere that it may inhibit the chemo.

PSA levels rising, Oncologist says to consider alternatives
He is looking into Cosmic clinical trial to see if I qualify, and considering Xtandi,
Taxotere
, and Jevtana. I have tolerated Firmagon and Zytiga comparatively well, and feel good with plenty of energy. I would appreciate ideas, thoughts, and information.

Update to Chemo .. Now complete
The kind of zinger
Taxotere
can put in your veins that shows up like a scar didn't show up. That has happened every other time. So now I am taking only vitamins and ibuprofen for the first time in 8 years. The Last lab had the PSA decreased again, but only 1 point.

Here is some Hope for you
It was a tough few years: Lupron for years now, over a month of radiation, tough round of chemo, then more radiation; then Zytiga, then a clinical trial then Xtandi, then more radiation, then
Taxotere
- no doubt it was brutal and wearing on me.

PSA dropped again💙
Hey gang, On Abiraterone(and Lupron) since Jan 2020 and PSA got to 12.9, then 6.6 and now at 4.2 with T at 3 😊 So, a continued decline, some great news for me during this #Coronatine I know it'll eventually rise, just a matter of when 😔 Then on to Cabazitaxel, rechallenge with
Taxotere
or enzalutamide

Association Between Dihydrotestosterone and Long-Term Risk for PCa Mortality
I had immediately failed RP & salvage radiation, which left Lupron,
Taxotere
& an early death - so I thought I'd try T. My PSA remained steady for 6 months (until I injected B12). I learned that when T bonded with AR, it did not mean that cell division would occur.

Successful treatments after RP, IMRT, and Taxotere?
Anyone aware of examples of long term remissions (years not months) in advanced cases after RP, IMRT, AND
Taxotere
treatments (that is an "and" not an "or")?

Neuropathy- consider acupuncture
I had pretty significant neuropathy in my feet after
Taxotere
. Nothing was really working, tried some supplements that one PA recommended to no avail. I finally tried acupuncture on a recommendation- it took about 4 or 5 visits, but it started getting better. Pretty much gone now.
