Tamoxifen Postmenopause?
I would rather try
tamoxifen
withdrawal, given other early studies showing it to have benefits. I don't like the idea of contributing to "Big Pharmacare" if I can avoid it.
Tamoxifen
, as a generic drug, is, by far, the least expensive option.

Further testing
I posted a few weeks back about the weird side effects I was getting from the
tamoxifen
, but it turns out that this anomaly could be causing it. Cheers Kylie

Breast tenderness and enlargement?
His MO began to order estrogen patches but then researched and ordered
tamoxifen
. His MO has been great knowing the most current approaches so we were surprised he had to research this. Now we are wondering perhaps gynecomastia isn’t that much of an issue? Your comments, please?

CBD oil?
, and I'm supposed to be starting hormone therapy soon (not
tamoxifen
as I was on that prior to MBC diagnosis). So in light of my meds is it 'safe'to take CBD? It's a mine field with interactions!

Tamoxifen Side Effects
I've been on
Tamoxifen
for about 5 months now after a lumpectomy and radiation therapy for a Grade 1 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma hormone positive and Her2. And I have a few questions around side effects. The side effects have caught up with me.

It is all about attitude not cancer
I take Cassodex and
Tamoxifen
I will be kicking those as well as my immune system gets stronger and stronger. I really believe and I know this is definitely not the majority belief that cancer is the best thing that ever happened to me. I'm happier now than it ever been my life.

Info on clinical trial with "Oral Faslodex/Fulvestrant"?
It is being tested against traditional meds such as Fulvestrant, Anastrozole, Letrozole, Exemestane and
Tamoxifen
--but my wife was "randomized" into the SAR439859 so has already had a couple days of the pills--so far, so good as far as side effects.

Anastrazole Side Effects Similar to Parathyroid Issues
I am now on
Tamoxifen
which is much better for me as I am post menopausal. I had to have another operation to remove the overactive gland and adenoma in September 2019 and so far I haven't experienced anything like the previous symptoms.

Just finished radiotherapy but feel overwhelmed
Lymph node removal showed no spread, so lumpectomy and radiotherapy, along with taking
Tamoxifen
(oncotype result 17, so no chemo). Haven't felt too bad physically, apart from severe cording following surgery, which is now almost cleared up and finished my radiotherapy yesterday.

Tamoxifen
Anyway what she has suggested, if my mum starts to feel poorly between now and her next appointment, to take the
tamoxifen
. She said it’s more for breast cancer and thats what’s I have read. Anyone have an experience on this medication in regards to symptoms.

Advice on small trampoline for lymphoedema
Background: I developed secondary lymphoedema in my left arm following breast cancer surgery last November and then radiotherapy/
tamoxifen
triggered four limb late onset primary lymphoedema which showed on my lymphoscintigram.

Recently diagnosed after 11 years
I’m 61 and have been on
tamoxifen
for 10 years. When first diagnosed, my doctor put me on anastrozole but it made me extremely exhausted, violent hot flashes and made my feet hurt. I’ve been on letrozole for over a week now and so far so good.

Bone pain, trouble walking
I am presently taking Verzenio and
tamoxifen
. My recent PET scan showed overall decrease in the liver, bone and lung. But after that, I’m experiencing so much pain and inability to walk without a can. Has anyone with bone Mets had this experience?
