Seretide 250
I was concerned because it's a steroid inhaler and I have so far only been using
Spiriva
, so this is a big one for me. I asked about side-effects and the Consultant said it was ok to take as it wasn't the same as taking steroid tablets.

Increase breath with moderate COPD
Now I have moderate COPD and I take daily
Spiriva
& Advair. My condition seems to be maintain but I run out of air capacity when I do cardio. How can I increase my air capacity with my remaining functional lung capacity?

Ankylosing Spondylitis and COPD and constant pain in the ribs
Within a week of this appointment, however, purely coincidentally, I started to experience chest pain and some SOB for the first time. within a couple of weeks, I was on
Spiriva
and Fostair. The hope was that this would improve my Peak Flow readings. Alas, no improvement.

My battle with copd..
I`m now just turned 70 whoopie, and want to live the best life I can for as long as I can, like all of you good people..I`m taking ventolin,
spiriva
,seratide, beconase and prednisalone, and antibiotics as needed. I`m having rough time at the moment, finding it hard to stay on top of things.

Must Fight Naps
I take
Spiriva
, Symbicort, Mucinex & I nebulize with albuterol inhalation solution on a daily basis just to get out of bed & move around. As the disease progresses I get tired. Not just tired but down right sleepy. I could, if I were a mind to, lay down & sleep for LORD knows how long.

Bit of an update - in need of a little support.....
I am on: Seretide 250/25 4 puffs a day, steroid nebs, pred, uniphylline, montelukast, azithromycin (prophylactic 3x a week), seretide, god knows how much ventolin etc - inhalers and nebs and then I have atrovent nebs instead of
spiriva
when I am sick.

Meds
I posted on here a few weeks ago and mentioned that I had started using Seebri instead of
Spiriva
. I found it difficult to take and doubted that I was getting much benefit from it. As a result after chatting with my GP about it, I have gone back to
Spiriva
.

COPD?? Pulmonary Fibrosis?? Wegener's?? What the 'ell??? Can anyone help?
Just been to see consultant for the second time (diagnosed 3 months ago with possible COPD). 60% FEV1/FVC but really struggling, particularly with chest discomfort and mild breathlessness - nothing seems to help - put on
Spiriva
, Fostair and Seretide 125 and Salbutamol.
