I know that he shouldn't just stop, he is taking two tablets three time a day, 25mg/100mg plus 1 tablet half Sinemet every night.

I take thyroxine 150mcg daily and sinemet 2 three times daily (for Parkinson's) also.

Ive just received some Zandopa powder and wonder who takes it with sinemet and if it has helped with the tremors and stiffness? How much do I take etc? Love to hear some one's feed back on Zandopa

Is anyone on the neupro patch without the use of sinemet? My neuro wants me to try the patch and get rid of the sinemet. Is that possible? Anyone have success with this? I'm on 25/100 4x a day, but need something else to reduce diskynesia and get me through the night.

Mum was on sinemet and resaguline until recently as they seemed to make her worse and I wondered how the rest of you manage with meds Thanks

Mum is being trialed with Sinemet and they have just upped her dosage. Mum can no longer speak apart from to say yes and no which we think she gets mixed up at times. She knows who we all are and knows wots going on as I explain everything to her.

Hi ,I've been stalevo for quite a few months ,I think I'm better on stalevo than sinemet I had pain every time I took the pain four times a day.went bk to neurologist he put me on higher dose age every 3 hours 150/25 I know take it 6 times a day and was missing my times and not being very punctual

The sinemet is still working most of the time, but i don't take it at night because when it wears off I'm quite incapacitated. Any ideas? I'm about to give up. I just don't have the strength anymore.

A new neurologist wants me to take re quip with the sinemet and then reduce the sinemet. I am taking 25/100 4x of sinemet at present. Has anyone done this with success? The sinemet gives me swallowing problems and dyskinesia. Also anyone take LDN with requip?

My consultant has suggested that I ‘gradually introduce low strength (12.5/50) Sinemet with half a tablet three times daily over a few days and then gradually increase further to a whole tablet three times daily over the next few days’.

Hi all, i am on 2 x 125mg madopar and 0.7 mg pramipexole 3 times a day and amandatine 100 mg 2 times a day, I find that the medication doesn't seem to help the stiffness too much, has anybody changed from madopar and found that changing to sinemet has worked better.

I'm o on sinemet 25/100 4x during the day and LDN.

All the drugs I've tried -- sinemet, neurontin, amantidine, etc -- have backfired and resulted in a wild exacerbation of all my symptoms. In many ways I look like a classic PD person but not in others. I had a DaT scan which was inconclusive. Now I'm on zonisamide.

Any suggestions would be appreciated, taking 5 25/100 sinemet, 1 cr sinemet, 4mg neupro patch daily. Have had PD 8 years,also have RA. Breathing problems keep me in bed, am 88 yr.old female. Thanks

When I try any of these meds -- sinemet, amantidine, even neurontin -- the tremor, which is in my right arm/hand, spreads to my right leg, head and voice and speeds up too. I feel like I've gone from the "wash" cycle to the "spin" cycle! Have any of you had this experience?

I take Stalevo, Ropinerole, Trihexyphenidyl and half Sinemet CR. These have worked well for me. However, my GP has advised that they intend to change my Ropinirole tablet with a tablet called Repinex XL This appears to be the generic trade name and the tablets are said to be same as Ropinerole.

I've been taking less sinemet than originally started on. I'd even gotten the pain down to minimal. I also have bipolar disorder. About a month ago I had two psychotic incidences. I did have some difficulty with medication management.

anybody cutting half of sinemet extended release tablets vs. cutting or taking Immediate release for better response? extended-release tablets are not intended for splitting, but I have seen some neurologist instruct their patients. any comment?

Is anyone on azilect or zelapar and have low blood pressure already because of sinemet?
