Ive just received some Zandopa powder and wonder who takes it with sinemet and if it has helped with the tremors and stiffness? How much do I take etc? Love to hear some one's feed back on Zandopa

I started with 2.5mgX4times./day with milk before food. Reduce the L-dopa doses depending on requirement.Not able to sustain with this,now taking 5mg.

I have been having difficulties with some of my Madopar doses working. Then I read a post somewhere herein saying that there can be problems absorbing the Levodopa drugs when certain foods have been eaten at about the same time as the Levodopa.

Guess what? dairy foods, particularly Milk and other high protein stuff have this effect It seems the best thing is to take Levodopa only on an empty stomach.

If I omit any breakfast cereal and therefore omit milk also then my breakfast dose of Levodopa works as normal.
