Gonal F Vs Menopur. Very low AMH
Hi šš» I have finally chosen my clinic, and will start a cycle in the next month or two. I'm going to be doing PGT-A due to my previous miscarriages, if I have any embryos. My issue is I have very low AMH (< 2 pmol/l). I do get pregnant but have miscarried all 3 last year. So I have no idea what this

Understanding Thyroid Test Results
This is the first time I have posted on this site. I have had hypothyroidism for 17 years now and had yearly blood tests. I must admit I have never understood what the result has meant other than the GP saying it's satisfactory. My recent test was Serum TSH level 2.14 mu/1. This means nothing to me and

Questions for Endocrinologist
Today is the day, I am finally seeing an endocrinologist. Any suggestions of things to ask? Trying to be optimistic about the appointment but quietly cautious. Below are the questions I have so far: - FT3 measurement to ensure adequate conversion - Pregnancy monitoring and appropriate FT4 and TSH levels

I helped a long term sufferer today
Got chatting recently to a lady on FB who lives in my town. She happened to mention that she is hypo and been on meds for about 6yrs. Funnily enough she is registered with the same GP Surgery as me. Anyway she was complaining that she was always so tired and achy etc and I asked what dosage she was

Hi allSo I've been publishing my results for many weeks now and have had fantastic advice from this page. Post-private GP update
Evening. A few people asked me to post an update following on from my visit to a private GP today. Well, it certainly wasnāt what Iād expected, which is to say I hadnāt expected much to happen other than another another blood test being needed and possibly a plan of action. What actually happened

T3/T4/TSH testing after starting T3
I've added T3 about 3 months ago and this is my first test so I want to get it right.I reduced levothyroxine and added 20mcg T3 and am now on (usually) 30mcg with 125mcg. I see levo should be stopped 24hrs pre test and T3 12-25hrs pre test unless peak T3 are required which they arent at the moment. Test

Managing the symptoms of an overactive thyroid
I have hashimotos, I take levothyroxine. I am ridiculously sensitive to my thyroid levels. At the moment I am going through the menopause, which affects my thyroid levels. They swing up and down. We have fiddled with my meds to get them to the best average and there is no point changing them again because

Optimal vitamin levels?
Hi there I am in the slow process of titrating my levo dose up from a slow start of 25mcg per day (GP started me on 100mcg previously and I went totally loopy hyper within 2 weeks and felt like my thyroid was very inflammed, I then stopped it altogether and left it a while before daring to restart slowly

Latest Medicheck Results
I re-started Levo 7 weeks ago and these are my before/after results. Iām self medicating and also use 7.5 -10mg hydrocortisone daily. Without the HC I feel very peculiar and have in the past, stopped the thyroid meds because of it. Iāve managed to be fairly ok this time and Iād like some feedback on

High TSH Tip
TSH volatile over last 12 months 3.8-8.1. (Range 02.7-4.2). Taking the Levothyroxine (150mg) during the night to maximise effect. Doctor questioning how I am taking the dose and very perplexed why the volatility. Feeling jaded at these levels. After much searching I have just learned that no Iron

Hypothyroid - Vit & iron levels
Hello, As recommended by this brilliant group, I have had my vitamin and iron levels tested through medichecks. My results have come back all in range, thankfully, but I know that sometimes ānormalā or āin rangeā isnāt optimum. Would someone be able to look at these please and let me know any thoughts

Elderly mum exhausted, overweight, unmotivated, yellow tinge skin on sides of face
Hello, I'm really struggling trying to get the GP to sort my mum out. She's nearly 88yrs old and in the last few years has put on an excessive amount of weight, she was a size 12, now she is almost a 20! She is absolutely exhausted, just says she has no energy at all and barely gets dressed each day
