COPD
The nurse has prescribed Ventolin, spiriva and
seretide
500 . She also told me that I was going for a chest x-Ray and on a treadmill due to my breathlessness and high pulse beat. I would appreciate if someone can tell me how bad or what stage I am in. Thank you, Raptorabz

Being stepped up.
She has decided to step up my preventative inhaler to
Seretide
inhaler and gave me the option of evohaler or accuhaler. I opted for the evohaler as I'm on so many other medications, so less confusing in my eyes.

COPD Going Backwards ?
Around 33% of my lung capacity had been lost due to years of smoking and I was put on Tiotropium once a day, and
Seretide
twice a day inhalers. My condition has been monitored at St Mary's Hospital, Paddington, London, since my diagnosis, and needless to say I have given up smoking.

Too much happening
Can't get it higher despite about 8 puffs of ventolin ,
Seretide
4 puffs twice a day and Montelukast. Has anyone else had this. Feel really tight chested, and a slight wheeze at night some times. Dizzy

It is not rocket science...
I take
Seretide
250 2 puffs morning and night. Tiotropium 18 slow release once a day, Phyllocontin 225 twice a day. Salbutamol if I need it. I am religious in taking my meds every day-never miss. Eating.

Itraconazole and sleeping/not sleeping
On,y take half dose of flixotide as told by consultant in 2010 and got GP to change to combined inhaler
seretide
also suggested by consultant in 2010. Collecting new inhaler in a couple of days. Will this make a difference? What inhalers are others on that are OK with Itraconazole?

Please help
I've been on pred 40mg for 8 days and abx,
seretide
and ventolin 8 times aday. Feeling like I'm going to have an attack any day now because I'm exhausted, tight chested and shallow breathing. Particularly worse at night and early morning.

NHS Cancelling my mdedication
She said it was the
Seretide
250 they had to stop for now but can they actually do this? Her attitude was change to the cheaper alternative or pay for it yourself!

Uncontrolled Asthma
Dear All I have suffered from asthma for 25 years ,and it has always been well controlled with Ventolin and
Seretide
250 which was changed to
Seretide
500 accuhaler but the dry powder aggravated my chest. I gave up smoking in August 2013 and I have never felt worse tbh.

Do you feel as you cannot take deep breath most of the time?
My consultant seems to thinks that all my breathlessness symptoms are caused by asthma - but
seretide
or oral steroids don't seem to help anymore. Just wondering if it could be a combination of asthma with something else? Thanks

I hope this works as well as
Seretide
because since I have been taken off this I have been on different ones which I felt has not kept my asthma under control.

Seretide
I asked my doctor if I could go back on
Seretide
and he said there was too many side effects with it and they were phasing people off it. Has anybody else been told this as about
Seretide
?

Seretide vs Piriva = confrontation
Unfortunately it ended with a bit of a confrontation as he wanted me to carry on with
seretide
, but I wanted to try a non steroid.

One step forward two back
Now on
Seretide
, Montelukast, and ventolin. Plus steroid every few weeks. I had blood clots on my lungs in May this year, and was unwell for a long time with that.

From very mild to uncontrolled asthma
I'm now on the highest dose of clenil modulite and taking
seretide
daily, as well as montelukast. Despite all this, my asthma isn't really any better. Triggers like smoke and perfume seem to set it off with out much fight at all.
