Tobacco smoke entering work space
During the last 15 years I've been taking my preventer every day (
Seretide
) and very rarely used my blue Ventolin as its been under control. Where I work I've been complaining for almost 10 years about cigarette smoke being blown into my face from the ventilation system.

Asthma attack lasting days
Seretide
twice a day and salbutamol twice a day for as long as I can remember and never any problems - play lots of sport etc. Monday evening my breathing was constrained. Blue inhaler wasn't relieving it.

Asthma not behaving
Back to doctors today for open surgery to tell doctors I was back on
seretide
. Check over all fine. Told him what the asthma nurse said and he was happy with that. So plan is to watch my asthma for the next 12 weeks hoping to be symptom free and then I could step down to 125

Hoarse voice and can't sing.
Up to about 4 months ago I was coping with it ok when my breathing got worse and I had gone into stage 2, since 2009 all I used was Asmol, I had xrays, bloods and a spyromotry test done and was prescribed
Seretide
, since then my voice started to go hoarse but 2 week ago I had an exacerbation and ended

Asthma and exams
I'm 18 and my exams are starting next week I've been keeping up with taking all my medicine and recently started a new preventer inhaler (
seretide
2puffs twice a day), prednisolone (2 week course) and montelukast tablets but nothing seems to be helping!

How quickly did your symptoms progress?
I am taking Sprivia and
seretide
. Is it normal to still have such chest tightness so regularly? My issue isn't stamina, I can still do plenty, but rather I have far bigger issue of exhaling at rest. Is the constant ache and tightness across my sternum something everyone gets?

Why am I gasping?
I am supposed to take Fluticasone/Salmeterol (
Seretide
) preventer and Salbutamol (Ventolin), but I have such severe and bizarre symptoms, it makes all of these, including the breathing problem, worse.

Haven't taken inhaler since last night
After coming off Sprivia last week coz of urine retention and feeling fine, I fancied going without fostair as well (I switched last week from
seretide
) and have been breathing better today than I have since my flare in January. Did a 50minute 25k cycle without any problems.

Seretide - muscle cramps, husky voice
I found this site by googling "
Seretide
muscle cramps". After two or three years of inhaling
Seretide
250/25 twice a day it has finally occurred to me it may be causing my awful leg and foot cramps at night.

I have been on
Seretide
for eight weeks now, the last four days or so I have felt terrible, can't really pinpoint it, not really sick or anything but exhausted and achy, all I want to do is sleep, is that a side effect? Help.

Bit more positive
I saw a different doctor today and I have a new inhaler to try -
Seretide
twice a day. I also have a rescue pack. It seems I am already under a consultant. All the surgeries in the area are directed by three specialists because of the prevalence of lung disease in the area!

Hypersensitivity Pneumonitis?
Because of the way
Seretide
makes me feel I struggle to tell if some of my symptoms are due to the medicine or due to illness. Any help would be much appreciated!

Relvar
Seem to have been worse since replacing
Seretide
with Relvar. Had it for three months now and wheeze very noisy. Now taking azithromycin three times weekly and hoping the long term antibiotic will help. Got it for six weeks.

Changed from Seretide to Symbicort
But I cough much more during the day which I never did whilst on
Seretide
and seem to get breathless more quickly. I wondering if this is a common effect.

Lung scarring help :(
These infections also triggered adult asthma, which I'm still trying to control. (
seretide
very helpful) Oh, and my lung function tests show I have 4litre capacity but only using 3litres. Does anyone have experience of this or can offer advice on lung scarring?

Delayed action or change of inhaler?
I'm breathing much better since having my
Seretide
inhaler changed to Symbicort but I don't seem able to get back to how I was. I get tired so very easily now and whereas in previous years I would have been away in the camper a number of times, I have lost my enthusiasm.
