Seem to have been worse since replacing Seretide with Relvar. Had it for three months now and wheeze very noisy. Now taking azithromycin three times weekly and hoping the long term antibiotic will help. Got it for six weeks.

My Seretide was initially replace with "something" Spiromax which made me really ill - now on Fostair and find it better than Seretide; get your GP to try a few until you hit the right one,
Thanks or the advice. Will speak to GP . Am told if long term antibiotic does not work it will be antibiotics intravenously. Pleasant thought. Missed my great grand daughter's third birthday today. Too wheezy to inflict myself on them. Hope they have saved me a bit of birthday cake
That's interesting. I was changed to Relvar from Seretide and my peak flow dropped immediately. I told the respiratory nurse who said to keep going with it as it can take some time to kick in. A few months later I told my GP who seemed not to have any interest at all in the fact. My peak flow has remained low and I don't think the Relvar is doing any good. Perhaps I should try the GP again.
