Persistent attacks
I was switched from becotide to
seretide
, which has subsequently increased to 250mg three times a day. And I keep having courses of steroids. But the asthma never gets completely better. I still have to use ventolin several times a day.

Consultant changes his mind again!
I had the forethought of taking a picture of it and said "I have not got on well with it with my disk
Seretide
even though I told the hospital chemist that was what I was using?

Ventolin vs Bricanyl and spacer use
I have severe asthma and for years been on Bricanyl,
Seretide
500, Uniphylin, Singulair and combivent nebuliser. I have been fairly well controlled over the last few years but have been going through a bad flare up for the last couple of months.

First hospital admission - worried
Usual medications are;
Seretide
250 2 puffs twice a day Montelukast 10mg at night Salbutamol & Atrovent inhalers at night. On Monday I started with the symptoms of a cold (cough, congested and a sort throat) I added in Flixotide 250 2 puffs twice a day as per my plan.

So frustrating
Double dose
seretide
and still a fair bit of ventolin. I'm started to get really unnerved by this. Finding it hard to get to grips with how unpleasant it is when the asthma flares up. Been signed off work for a week. And back to see gp next week.

Perhaps Supplements Do Actually Work...
Add on the Seroxat for long term clinical depression...and the Esomeprazole to protect the stomach from the steroids and the Levothyroxine 'cos I have a sluggish thyroid...there's the inhalers as well of course...
Seretide
and Spiriva and Salamol...no wonder I can't walk far with that lot rattling about

Rapid breathing and heart rate
I've been on
seretide
for several months but keep keep getting flares up. Yesterday had huge quantity of ventolin got emergency appoint with gp. Saw gp yesterday now on prednisilone. I'm fine if I sit still, doing anything makes me really breathless and my breathing and heart rate shoots up.

Please can anyone advice me on Monitoring Asthma Patients
I was changed two months ago to Flutiform from
Seretide
because of the cost, now this is not holding me for twelve hours , I'm back coughing evening and first thing in morning. I would welcome your comments greatly. '
