I've hit rock bottom and starting to think this is in my head :(
Sorry, I feel like I have messaged on here so much. Recap is I'm 48 and have been having significant abdominal pain, particularly the left hand side. I have had this pain for years but up until a year ago it was only for a few days. My periods have always been heavy. I've had various scans over the years

Sensitive post - the end of the journey!
Hi everyone, 6 weeks ago, after 7 rounds of egg collection and 2 transfers (this was my second transfer), my son was born at 37 weeks via c-section due to placenta previa, gestational diabetes, risk of pre-eclempsia and 'my age'. I finally became a mother at 46 (with my 42 year old egg) ! The baby

Prostap and Tibelone
Hi everyone,I'm new here and looking to see if anyone else is having the same problem. I'm currently on Prostap injection and Hrt Tibolone. I'm extremely low in mood, I have no energy, I'm really tired where I could fall asleep at my desk at work but struggling to sleep at night. I just really can't

Prostap extreme depression-what can help?
I've had 2 months of injections now and I'm really struggling with low mood. Last month it only lasted 2 days but this month it's been 10 days and doesn't seem to be shifting. I don't know if it's worth asking for antidepressants as I know it's hormonal and they take weeks to kick in... Has anyone else

37 week induction- success stories?
Hi ladies, after being told i would be induced at 39 weeks they now want to push this to 37 (next week!). Bubba is fine but small (4-8 centile) and they think there’s a risk with my low papp-a… although blood flow from placenta and fluid have been consistently fine so far. For some reason, I’ve found

Sensitive, she is here 💕
My precious, perfect girl was safely delivered by C section last Friday and we were discharged after just one night in hospital. After all the pain we have been through (miscarriage of twins, cancelled FET, chemical pregnancy, failed FET), I still can’t believe she is real. We are absolutely in love

Nervous about Prostap
Hi Everyone, I am having my first Prostap injection tomorrow as I've reached the end of the road with the mini pill. It was making me bleed which got worse. I came off it for a week under Dr's advice, and took norethisterone so I could stop bleeding enough to have my smear test. I am now having the

Considerations before a hysterectomy
My consultant who performed my laproscophy said I could have a hysterectomy 1 year after my c section. (Private) I had a tube removed and endometriosis removed in my last lap. I thought there would be other treatments to explore first?! I'm 35. Finished my struggle to get my kids. Am in constant

Prostap Causing High Blood Pressure
Hi all. I've been on prostap for several years with no bp issues. I had a break for a few months and went back on it. My body seems to have reacted quite badly with various side effects such as hair falling out, acne etc. One of the more worrying issues though is that my blood pressure is through the

hello, I was wondering if anyone got the same effects as me from the Prostap injection, I’m bruised all around my stomach, basically from the inside, it’s like stretch marks but it’s not and it’s kinda worrying me as it’s a different colour to my skin, I’ve only had the injection for a month, plus my

Been told by gynae I'm too old for endo but gp disagrees?
I hope someone can help/advise please. I have been having severe abdo/gynae issues for a long time, but they have worsened in the past 12 months. I am 48 and my gp thought it was Endometriosis as I am having bowel and bladder issues, linked to my cycle. The pain is so bad I nearly pass out. I have seen

38 weeks planned c section - Steroid injection?
I’m currently 34+1 with our IVF miracle and having a planned c section at 38 weeks (had complicated emergency c section with first child) but they’ve said they offer an optional steroid injection if you deliver planned before 39 weeks which can apparently help with breathing for baby IF they have fluid

Still no period following prostap injection
hi ladies, I am going through another IVF cycle/FET. I had my prostap injection on day 23 of my cycle and usually my period has arrived 10 days after that. It’s now 15 days since the i jectio. And still no sign of my period. I have my baseline scan Thursday and concerned that my lining will not be thin
