coz on the atrovent thing it says to mix it with saline but i was not perscribed saline.. any suggestions would be great hope all are well Thanks Kate xx.

Being able to feel the saline running into my lungs I felt like I was drowning. Really dont want to go through that again! Anyway they said I dont have VCD, but they've taken some samples and biospys to check and I get the results on 2nd December back in clinic.

I've been admitted, been on back to back nebulisers, been on oxygen for hours, I've been on IV's [nothing drug related, BP drops a lot, end up on saline to bring it back up], had loads [meaning 6-7] of ABG's done, hospital treatment no longer bothers me, too used to it, A&E is like my 2nd home recently

i got told i had a really dry cough & got put on a saline neb in the ambulance, which seemed to help the coughing. got to a&e & had to wait over an hour. finally got called through & explained what was wrong & got put straight on salbutamol neb, sent for xrays, had blood cultures done, came back from

last sunday, i put myself in a taxi to a&e, struggling to breathe and very tachycardic. 8 days later and i'm still here. nebulised first (not all at once) with salbutamol, saline, and sodium chloride. i.v. of magnesium and oxygen therapy.

I'm under the North west lung centre for asthma & bronchiectasis and am on daily nebbed hypertonic saline. I bought an Omron microair 3 months ago and have used it once a day since for the HS.

We already use Carbocystene, Salbutamol and saline nebules in the nebuliser and Oxazipine tablets when the distress gets really bad.
