Uncontrolled RA
I've been asked to try
Rituximab
after other biologics have failed but having read up on it I'm a little hesitant as it definitely sounds the worst for side effects. It seems to me that I'm simply replacing one set of risks and side effects from being uncontrolled to others from the

Anyone else stopping RITUXIMAB
I am interested to know if anyone has been advised to stop
RITUXIMAB
infusions? I went for my infusion on Thursday (it was 5 weeks late as I had a third dose of vaccine in between time) My consultant told me patients on ritux who contracted covid had no efficacy.

Rituximab, given weekly for 4 weeks experiences?
I begin my treatment for cold autoimmune hemolytic anemia, in January 2022 with a single agent of
rituximab
, given weekly for 4 weeks. This will include dexamethasone with the treatment to reduce any allergic reactions.

Evusheld and heart
I’m now eligible for Evusheld (in Australia), being recently finished Rituxamib. My wife & I have been very cautious and are Covid-free so far, but thinking with so many Covid cases circulating now, it’s probably prudent to have the Evusheld however, my careful daughter found a vague reference in FDA

Post rituximab drop in immunoglobulins
I had severe platelet and neutrophil levels at diagnosis, and they did not recover until 4 days of high-dose dexamethasone after my eighth
rituximab
infusion. I am now back in mild neutropenia and my immunoglobulins have dropped below the lower limit of normal. Have othes seen this?

Venetoclax and high total bilirubin?
When he reached 400 mg
Rituximab
was included as well once per month. Up to this moment he has had 5 courses of it, because in August his bilirubin and ASL started to raise and there doctors decided to miss
Rituximab
that month until Hepatitis was excluded.

Rituximab infection
I’m due for my
Rituximab
infusion on December 1st. My Respiratory Doctor wrote to me saying there are “some infective changes” in my lower left lung. Is it a good idea to delay the infusion? I took a coarse of antibiotics last month. Any thoughts please? Thanks

Rituximab
After the awful problems I had when switched to Azathioprine, which obvs was stopped, today I go for my first Ritubimax infusion. Apparently it takes 6 hours, and a second infusion to be given a fortnight later which will take about 4 hours. Do any of you have any experience of this? What to expect

Anti Viral Drugs - Covid - CEV
Currently on 6 monthly infusions of
Rituximab
I was told by her that I would definitely have access to Anti Viral Treatments. Good! She said the information she has is that it’s a potential Game Changer. So I asked how do I get access if I am unfortunate to be infected with Covid?

Rituximab one vs two 1000g dose
After doing her check up she decided to give me one dose of
Rituximab
instead of 2 doses this round. Any thoughts as to why she did this ? And has this happened to any one? Many thanks.

So fed up
Both my respiratory and rheumatology consultants have decided that I've now to commence on
rituximab
infusions to hopefully help with both the lupus and lung disease.

Immunology Consult? (New here)
First time posting...I was diagnosed w/ SLL/CLL in 2004, treated with 6 rounds of Bendamustine/
Rituximab
in 2012 and am presently in remission. Never was I informed that I have a reduced response to any vaccines due to CLL-I didn't know until the studies from Israel were published in 2021.

BTK+Venetoclax trial in the UK?
Hello, I was wondering if anyone is aware of any upcoming BTK+Venetoclax trials in the UK. The only one listed is the AVO vs AV vs FCR which is basically not recruiting anymore (probably because of the FCR arm). There are loads of these trials around the world but none in the UK. I wonder why. It seems
