This article in MedPage Today summarizes the current status for the several methodologies being studied as alternatives. Good info for those currently on AS or just watching a rising PSA. My husband has been on Abiraterone for 5 months during which time his PSA has risen,. Before that he had had 6 rounds of Docetaxel which also saw his PSA rise. Having waited for 6 weeks to have a biopsy and get the results for neuroendocrine PC (he didn’t have it) his oncologist has said he can either

Dad with Stage 4 PCa - Need some words of wisdom...again please!
Hi everyone. Just got back from appointment with Dad's oncologist. To keep you up to speed - 3 months ago, his ADT injections stopped working and his PSA started to climb up slowly. Oncologist put Dad on Enzalutamide - been on it for 6 cycles - tolerated well but his PSA has gone from 76 to 87 in one

I've noticed a difference!
About 6 weeks ago I started taking vitamin B supplements and also CBD 5mg capsules. After about a week I'd noticed my clicks joints had quietened down a bit, my hands weren't as painful and I'd started to walk upstairs more normally. All in all my discomfort had become more manageable, I was moving

Difficulty tolerating iron
Hello, my ferritin level has dropped over the last two years when I discontinued my iron supplement. I think it's around 17. I do have symptoms, hair thinning, mood issues, trouble sleeping, weight gain, low thyroid. It's very strange as I don't tolerate it well anymore, I've tried several different

I had a major surgery about 8 months ago but the pain around my stomach hasn't gone away. My blood tests and CT scan results are normal. They mentioned that have adhesions which make me in pain all day all night, so I only rely on the pain reliefs.

Stay vigilant for PD cures
An example from my own experience. I am currently experiencing a kind of miraculous 'healing' probably (note this word) by reducing and managing a vitamin B6 deficiency. Suppose I hadn't been tested at the time and immediately, like so many, taken a vitamin B complex with P5P, I might as well have put

Radical prostatectomy consultant in the south of England
I've been diagnosed with prostate cancer, quite aggressive with a Gleason of 9 (4+5). No spread has been detected on a CT scan and I'm due to have a NM bone whole body scan on Friday to detect any spread to the bones. Assuming there is no or little spread, I am keen to have a radical laparoscopic prostatectomy

Treatment after Lu /Pluvicto?
It seems that there is paucity of data related to the effectiveness of treatments after Lu/Pluvicto. I'm beginning to suspect that pubished survival benefits for Radium 223/Pluvicto and chemotherapy cannot be assumed to be anticipated if the patient has had Pluvicto. My husband has completed 6 sessions

Post surgery issues
Hi thereLooking for advice/experiences post surgery. I had Interval Debulking/Radical Hysterectomy on 26 October. The surgery went well and I came home after 5 nights. I have suffered with horrible bloating and pain since and was told when still in the hospital it was from post-surgery gas which I know
