PSMA scan changes treatment yet again
Planning
prostatectomy
. I went and had a PSMA scan which showed issue was supraclavicular lymph nodes and met on C1. Treatment swapped to Lu177. 2. After two Lu177 infusions second PSMA scan showed lymph nodes resolving but continued spread on spine.

External beam radiotherapy [EBRT] and radical prostatectomy [RP] are associated with better survival in Asian PCA patients
Additionally, Asian high-risk radical
prostatectomy
patients also showed lower cancer-specific mortality than white patients (hazard ratio 0.72, P = 0.04), but not Asian intermediate-risk radical
prostatectomy
patients (P = 0.08).

Intermittent ADT
Prostatectomy
, 40 radiation treatments and 7 months Lupron. PSA was soon undetectable. Stayed that way until 2020. It slowly increased to 7.3 in 2021. Ga68PSMA and Auxumin (?) Pet scans all showed nothing. Started on Firmagon. PSA went to undetectable within two weeks.

Artificial Urinary Sphincter question
Hello fine people, I am dealing with quite a bit of continence issues more than 2 1/2 years after
prostatectomy
. Considering AUS, but I’m worried about how long the recovery is. I am very active, biking and sailboat racing, don’t want to lose too much muscle mass or sailing season.

Anal sex after LDR brachy
Am posting because I've seen various posts and questions about anal sex after radiotherapy (and
prostatectomy
), some of which were positive experiences, others not. I think it's an important issue to relay experiences about.

Breast Tenderness post Eligard
It's been a year since my last 3-month Eligard injection (following radical
prostatectomy
and salvage radiation) and my PSA level in late November has stayed undetectable while my testosterone level has risen to 13.2 nmol/L. Recently my breasts have become quite tender.

Testosterone lowering but PSA rising
2015
Prostatectomy
, external beam radiation and two yrs ADT (Zoladex) and four yrs active surveillance. However, Dec 2020 PSA was 2.59 and Dec 2021 now 6.9. Testosterone Dec 2020 was 22.2 but Dec 2021 it has dropped to 13.6. Why is my testosterone going down while my PSA is rising?

Gerson therapy: juicing
I had mentioned to her that I had prostate cancer in 2015, then
prostatectomy
...biochemical recurrence and radiation in late 2017. So far PSA has been undetectable. She suggested to me that it could still be there and that I do Gerson therapy for 2 years.
