Catch 22 - Hormone sensitive but can't tolerate hormone therapy
Originally at radical
prostatectomy
, I was Gleason 3+4 with extensive spread outside the prostate margin. And involvement of all the other parts except the bladder - seminal vesicles, etc. Oh well. I will be eager to learn about other options with my new MO.

Update on "How credible is my report"
Finally got an explanation as to why my DCFPyl PET scan was reported as radical
prostatectomy
and not a prior RT . My GP called the radiology lab (in my presence) and got another Radiologist to review the scans.

Rationale For Declining PSA Test?
One of my best friends went in for his annual the other day since I had a Prostate Cancer Diagnosis and a Radical
Prostatectomy
. I had a lot of conversations about all the information I found, going through the biopsy, the treatment decisions and recovery after surgery.

Third PSMA PET indicator may be approved by FDA
In a clinical trial, it was able to find prostate cancer metastases in 71% of men with post-
prostatectomy
PSA between 0.2-0.5 ng/ml, which is about 50% greater than the detection rate of the two currently approved PSMA PET indicators.

PSA rising with 3.3month doubling time after Radical Prostatectomy. Further actions?
DaVinci Radical
Prostatectomy
was done in October 2021. Gleason 4+3. The cancer was contained in the prostate, it had not spread at the time.

How about validating SPPORT via a members' poll ?
If you had
prostatectomy
with no or unknown lymph node invasion and then sRT you are invited to participate to this poll. No need to write your full bio.

Five years cancer-free!
As of February 2022, I am 5 years cancer free after robotic laparoscopic
prostatectomy
with Gleason 4/3 and stage 2 prostate cancer. My latest PSA showed <0.1 ng/ml., i.e., undetectable. I am so glad I chose to have the
prostatectomy
and not radiation.

ADT and radiation
I had a radical
prostatectomy
on 1/28/22. It was partial nerve sparing. My Gleason score was 7 (4+3). I was very fit going into surgery and recovery has mostly been going well. The only issue I have is that I still have ED. My erections are at about 50% with no aids.

GA 68 PSMA PET SCAN RESULTS
Benign postsurgical changes within the pelvis in keeping with prior
prostatectomy
and lymphadenectomy. Probable bilateral seroma/lymphocele. 3. Curvilinear radiotracer activity at the tip of the penis, probably the result of activity within the distal urethra and some contamination artifact.

I'm 80 years old with ED since my
prostatectomy
. Both surgery an radiation have failed to cure my PC so, I find myself at a fork in the road.
