For those of you who had radiation, how did you manage nausea if you had it?
He didn't qualify for
prostatectomy
because it had spread beyond the capsule and into the nerve bundles and a few other areas nearby. He is a gleason 10, newly diagnosed.

Progesterone Receptor.
Using radical
prostatectomy
tissue, it was "found that a high density level of PGR in TE is an independent prognostic factor for progression to CF in PCa. Further, high PGR density levels are significant for progression to CF in patients with Gleason score ≥ 7."

ART - BMC Urology: Comparison of various continence definitions in a large group of patients undergoing radical prostatectomy
I have constantly heard that 90% plus of men are "dry" at 1 year post RP...I have never believed this. Doctors report higher success for both continence and ED than actually occurs and there is little interest in standardizing the criteria used to measure the outcomes of surgery...in Germany this is

Next step. Some advise please
Prostatectomy
(Da Vinci) in february 2017. Recurrence in December 2019 (psa:0.21 ng/ml). PET/PSMA GA68 show the prostate bed and one lymph node were illuminated. 28 session of radiation was given (august 2020) to the prostate area (61 Gy) and the dose increased (63 Gy) to the PSMA uptake area.

Perioperative beta blockers and PC recurrence
Non-selective beta-blockers at time of radical
prostatectomy
was associated with a lower risk of recurrence. Frankly, sounds far-fetched to me: https://jamanetwork.com/journals/jamanetworkopen/fullarticle/2788446

Firmagon Vacation
Prostatectomy
, 40 radiation treatments and 7 months Lupron in 2015. Gleason was 4+3=7. PSA was undetectable until 2020. Crept up to 7.3. Nothing showed up on PSMA and Axumin scans. Have been on Firmagon for 4 months now. My PSA went down to 0.064 within one week.

PSMA scan changes treatment yet again
Planning
prostatectomy
. I went and had a PSMA scan which showed issue was supraclavicular lymph nodes and met on C1. Treatment swapped to Lu177. 2. After two Lu177 infusions second PSMA scan showed lymph nodes resolving but continued spread on spine.

External beam radiotherapy [EBRT] and radical prostatectomy [RP] are associated with better survival in Asian PCA patients
Additionally, Asian high-risk radical
prostatectomy
patients also showed lower cancer-specific mortality than white patients (hazard ratio 0.72, P = 0.04), but not Asian intermediate-risk radical
prostatectomy
patients (P = 0.08).
