Happy Campers!
Two and a half years after my robotic
prostatectomy
(nerve sparing on left side only) and numerous discussions with my urologist that none of the pills, pumps or rubber accessories work, he prescribed Trimix. Doc gave me 5 ml in his office to teach me how to use it.

Prostatectomy with pre-ADT?
I have grade 5+3 PCa, biopsy showed 3 cores cancerous, one indeterminate, one 4+3, one 5+3, all on right side. A recent MRI showed 'something' on the other side too, not caught by biopsy. I am strongly leaning toward removal because I do not want to deal with 1-2 years of recommended hormone therapy

Questions on treatment?
Since I was opened up so do the radical
prostatectomy
about 3 years ago my PSA has stayed at <.01 with treatment. It started at 212 PSA at the beginning. When I got COVID last year and spent 35 days in the hospital I was without treatment for around 3 months.

Stagnant Condition.
I've had a
prostatectomy
followef by salvage radiation due to a rising PSA. Initially, the salvage radiation worked and PSA was undetectable. However, a few months passed and my PSA steadily rose at a quite rapid rate doubling about every three months to .8 before stabilizing.

Prostate Cancer Foundation : ADT: What You Really Need to Know .. "Who should not get ADT? "
If you just have a rising PSA after radiation therapy or radical
prostatectomy
, that is not a good enough reason for a doctor to put you on ADT. If your doctor wants to put you on ADT to “shrink your prostate” before brachytherapy, that’s not a good enough reason."

Radical Robotic Prostatectomy vs. Radiation and hormone treatment. That is my question. Stage 2. Aggressive Tumor.
Should I consider Cyberknife ? I am in a real quandary about which way to go.

Radiation Cystitis
I finished radiation February 2020 (Never undetectable post op) after
prostatectomy
April 1st 2019. I started noted some blood in my urine in late January. Multiple UA's showed blood in the urine. Had a cystoscopy this week with showed cystitis. Urine culture all negative.

PSA no longer undetectable. Now what?
I had a
prostatectomy
in 2017, radiation, and nearly 3 years of Lupron, with the last injection on 5/10/20. Other details are in my profile. PSA was undetectable for 2.5 years. Yesterday's draw shows that it's 0.032.

Low testosterone are associated with the extend of lymphnodal invasion at radical prostatectomy and extended pelvic lymph node dissection
Abstract Objective: To investigate clinical factors associated to lymphnodal metastasis load in patients who underwent to radical

Early Salvage Radiation After RP Improves Outcomes in Relapsed Prostate Cancer
The time from
prostatectomy
to salvage RT did not affect these outcomes. Of the cohort, 133 (32.6%) patients received neoadjuvant or concurrent androgen deprivation therapy (ADT).

How does PCa affect Venous Thromboembolism risk?
The higher risk in the months after prostate cancer may reflect the higher risks of VTE associated with surgical interventions such as radical

Can anyone shed some light on this subject?
He speculated that it may have been caused by my robotic
prostatectomy
. I started drinking some natural detox 'supplements', which have pretty much made my bowel movements normal. In addition to the normal bowel movements, I am finding that my incontinence issues have decreased significantly.

Re-Expression of ... AR in Receptor Negative Endocrine Cancers via GSK3 Inhibition. Lithium?
Of interest [4] - "Lithium Carbonate was administered to eight patients for four weeks prior to radical
prostatectomy
..." Anyone here using lithium? What kind & what dose? Looks like one should discuss with one's doctor before experimenting.
