Should I be worried? pramipexole prescribed
Anyway, reading here has made me wonder if I should just stop the
pramipexole
before it becomes too hard to stop. Also I like to go out at weekend and have a drink or too, is this still ok to do?

Covid and RLS Augmentation
I have been a member of this forum for a long time now and found it immensely supportive and helpful as I tried to withdraw from
Pramipexole
after severe problems with Augmentation, having been kept on this drug for 22 years. Then I caught Covid in Dec 2019.

RLS and the Moderna vaccine
One woman had RLS for 40 years and was beginning to augment on
pramipexole
. They apparently were not doing anything different except for getting the vaccine. Has anyone out there had a similar experience or heard of this happening in their geographic area?

Thank You for Sharing Knowledge and Experiences
The
pramipexole
was making the RLS worse. After 3 years of taking 1mg once a day I stopped, cold turkey. I do not recommend the sudden stop! For three nights it was hellish. Bizarre behavior, intense symptoms and unrelenting misery were my companions on those three nights.

RLS, Pramipexole, Augmentation, HELP
I have been diagnosed with RLS in 2007 and the neurologist prescribed me with 0,250 mg
pramipexole
(2x0,125) 2 times a day (0,500 mg total). Since I'm not a big fan of medication, I quickly decided to only take the 0,250mg in the evening. This went pretty well for years.

Going Good
At first was taking .5 mg
pramipexole
and 600 mg gabapentin. After a couple nights started having symptoms again. Instead of increasing the
pramipexole
like Drs here do, I decreased the
pramipexole
and I have slept like a baby ever since. A record 5 nights in a row.

Does anyone have experience using Neupro 2mg patches?
I finally went to see a Movement Disorder Consultant at the hospital last month and she wants me to transfer from
Pramipexole
0.88mg tablets to Rotigotine patches.

Change of meds
Pramipexole
I am experiencing augmentation after being on Ropinerole for roughly 20 years. He has prescribed
Pramipexole
which is another dopamine agonist.

RLS relief
When I was diagnosed my doc started me on on
Pramipexole
(Mirapex). I took that with doc increasing over time until it got to the point I was not getting any relief from the medicine. I started seeing a movement disorder/sleep doc. Things are a little better, but could be a lot better.

Coming off Temgesic and back on to Ropinirole
I should also note that I had variously been on Ropinirole and
Pramipexole
until last November, but it should have washed out of my system until then. I look forward to hearing from you :)

An update
I know I will need help to wean off my meds, as it has been a long time, but have tried
Pramipexole
starting on a low dose! That did not work at the time and I ended up continuing the Requip. So here I am today about to try again.

Sub-lingual pramipexol?
I take two 0.25mg tablets of pramipexol each night for restless legs. They take 3to4 hours to work. Does anyone know if there is a sub-lingual form available, and if so does anyone have experience with it.
