kratom issues
He’s had an Rls issue since childhood… and it’s only been the last 8 years on and off opiods , and
pramipexole
, that his symptoms are worse. Now the kratom is no longer working to make things worse he’s depressed. I also wonder if anyone can say if buprenoprine or Suboxone also trigger mania?

Should I increase Pramipexole again after hospitalisation?
I’ve been weaning off
Pramipexole
for a few months now. An additional medical need led to Morphein prescription. It stopped RLS in its tracks- bliss. Then I had a bad reaction to Morphein ended up in hospital and had to stop taking it.

Allergic Reaction to Sinemet?
I posted previously that after being on
Pramipexole
for over 30 years, I, at the direction of my PCP, completed about 2 weeks ago a transition over an 8 week period from P to Sinemet (100 carbidopa-200 levodopa).

reducing Pramipexole plan?
I really don’t want to take a higher dose, and I don’t particularly like some of the side effects of
pramipexole
, so I’m going to put in place a plan to come off it.

Lifetime.
Still taking, at the moment
pramipexole
but suppliers didn't have any for my pharmacy this week. Will have to speak to my doctor to change my prescription over to Ropinerole. Again. Good luck everyone.

Transitioning off pramapezole
I am 90 years old and have been on
pramipexole
for over 30 years. Although I was aware that the
pramipexole
was becoming less effective (I had gone from 0.25 mg/day to 1.0 mg/day over those 30 years), I had done almost no research on RLS and was unaware of augmentation.

Good Morning Since dropping down my
pramipexole
from 6 tablets per day to 2 and starting on Pregababin my RLS has been off the scale… I have stopped going out completely and only put myself in situations where I know I will be able to walk which is the only respite I can get .

Augmentation Concerns Being Overblown?
Rates of reduction should not exceed 0.25 mg (
pramipexole
) or 0.5 mg (ropinirole) every 3 days.

I have got in a real mess with my RLS and I desperately need help
I have slowly reduced the
Pramipexole
to zero with no effects other than on the RLS. At the same time since Christmas I have been increasing the Gabapentin to find a satisfactory dose. At the moment I am on 12x 300mg spread over four doses in the day.

New Medication?
Wrote a new prescription for
Pramipexole
Dihydrochloride 0.25MG. Any information on this drug would be appreciated. ( Currently on 1200MG Gabapentin, if the new prescription works, I could take less Gabapentin if need be.)

Ocular problem
I now take
pramipexole
twice a day and the stiffness and walking improve. I stop having big problem with my eye. Just a ptosis that is worst certain day until last week. I start having pain again and my eyebrow frooze for maybe 25 min in a position. An other day someone saw me eyelid drop.

Gabapentin Dose, Caffeine and Alcohol
While working through the withdrawal from
Pramipexole
, my doc has me on 600mg of Gabapentin at bedtime. She has strictly reduced my intake of caffeine and alcohol. I was already on half-caf coffee due to my heart condition.

Weening off Pramipexole to start Gabapentin
I've been taking
Pramipexole
for 18 years ( .75 mg daily ). for my RLS.My Dr. is starting me on Gabapentin to replace the Sifrol. I am now taking 75 mg. Gabapentin daily in addition to Sifrol. Two days ago I reduced Sifrol down to .50 mg. daily.

Insomnia
I came off
pramipexole
and eventually settled on Tramadol for 6 months , after which tolerance/augmentation started and the Tramadol was no longer effective. While I was on Tramadol I experienced strong heart palpitations and insomnia every night. I averaged 4 or 5 hours sleep each night.

Edited: PD increases chance of RLS.(yes) Azilect worsens RLS.(wrong) Ambroxol, being an antihistamine I believe worsens RLS.(incorrect)
My personal experience: My neuro told me to just stop taking Azilect because he was going to switch me to
Pramipexole
. This was bad advice. Just suddenly stopping Azilect caused a surge of symptoms. And
Pramipexole
, being a dopamine agonist would have made my RLS worse.

Pramipexole alternative.
I have just been informed by Pharmacy2U that they can’t supply my usual
Pramipexole
, which I have been taking for 25 years, gradually increasing dose from minimum to maximum with no problems. I therefore need an alternative. Any recommendations, please? Thanks.

My GP has now prescribed
Pramipexole
along with the pregabalin. Does anyone have experience of taking this drug for RLS?

MAOI for depression in Parkinson’s
I tried to convince the doctor to prescribe
pramipexole
but they said the side effects are too risky. I’m just so lost with everything. My Parkinson’s is progressing fast due to not being able to do anything for the depression.
